This would be great way for any politician party to obtain more votes this election with close to 2 million individuals being diagnosed with Diabetes.
Allowing subsidised availability of continuous glucose monitoring to everyone with Diabetes would make living with this chronic disease a little bit easier and decrease the chances of diabetes complications occurring for every individual is a bit of no brainer for me..
This would be a good SOLULU Albo….

With the Federal Election date now set for May 3, Australia’s leading diabetes advocacy organisations are calling for election commitments to expand

This week marked the new bimonthly face to face clinic!!
The service provides a collaborative care approach with all GPs in Coffs Harbour and North Coast area for Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes management and with extra services available such as diabetes technology and nutrition education.

Looking forward continuing to work with Endocrinologist Dr Chandra.

All appointments are through Hunter Endocrinology.

We’re alerting the diabetes community to the rise of fraudulent advertisements and scams for bogus products, including those that claim false endorsement by Diabetes Australia.



One such scam involves a device marketed as the “Bikenda Non-Invasive Blood Glucose Meter,” falsely described as Australian-made and, in some advertisements, Diabetes Australia-approved.

We’re encouraging people to remain vigilant and if you encounter suspicious advertisements or claims take important steps.

My annual event to honour the 17th September where the diabetes journey began.

Never would I have dreamed to be here where I am today.

Its not been easy, but its refined my character to be strong willed and persistent which has enabled me to overcome challenges along the way.

Learning how to manage diabetes through primary school years, sporting, trying new technology, adapting to pump life, and now running long distances..

Thank you to all my family and friends who have given unwavering support over the years. You really need a team!
