With another big sporting season underway, we welcomed our student physiotherapists into the clinic for this year’s Sports Trainer Workshop — and they brought the energy. 🎓💪

From mastering strapping techniques and sharpening on-field injury assessments to hands-on massage skills, these future physios are officially game-day ready to support AFL, netball, rugby league, and soccer teams across our region.

Because confident clinicians aren’t born on the sidelines — they’re trained for it. And we’re proud to keep investing in the next generation of sports health professionals who’ll be keeping our community moving all season long. 🙌

Training hasn’t changed.
But pain has. ⚠️

During growth spurts, young athletes need more fuel just to keep up with what their body is doing internally — before training even starts.

If nutrition doesn’t match growth + sport, we often see:
• Knee pain
• Heel pain
• Shin pain
• Ongoing niggles that won’t settle

It’s not always overtraining.
Often, it’s under-fuelling 🍽️

As physios, we can cover basic nutrition considerations where growth, load, and recovery overlap — but we don’t replace sports nutrition experts. 👥
