Mentoring: advise or train (someone especially a younger colleague/person)

And that's just what we did. We had an opportunity to encourage the students of Maryborough High and St Mary's school in listening to the various roles available in Aged Care. From the kitchen, cleaning, maintenance, admin, trainee, RN, wellbeing, and management all told their story of how they got to this point and why they were here. Tia, our trainee, did an amazing job and was very proud of her role in the For Purpose family. Thanks to all who came and told their story. The kids were so receptive and full of questions after the session. Thanks for coming to visit and we hope this helps you decide your career path. 😃

Today at Maryborough Community Aged Care, we honour the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures whose love, strength, and guidance have shaped families and the communities we all belong to.

At The Vue Community Aged Care, another one of our For Purpose Aged Care homes, we were privileged to witness heartfelt moments shared between fathers and their loved ones — a beautiful reminder of the bonds that connect generations.

Thursday was Aged Care appreciation day. Staff received Bacon and Egg rolls for breakfast. Residents filled in lovely notes for staff thanking them for their efforts. Great work team.
