Weekends in Alice Springs look a little something like this...

Life in the Red Centre is unlike anywhere else. Warm summer days, cool winter nights, and breath-taking views of the MacDonnell ranges in every direction.

Our Allied Health team love making the most of the outdoorsy lifestyle that Alice Springs offers. Thanks to Occupational Therapist, Tarsha, for sharing these stunning photos of her recent adventures!

Can you see yourself working in and exploring Alice Springs and Central Australia? We're seeking experienced Speech Pathologists and Occupational Therapists to join our growing team, in our shiny new office space (shhh... more info about that soon!). Today, we proudly hosted the first Coffee with the Chamber NT for 2026 in partnership with Chamber of Commerce Northern Territory.

The morning brought together professionals from diverse industries across the Northern Territory, creating valuable opportunities for connection, collaboration and conversation.

We were pleased to welcome guests to our space and engage in meaningful discussions over coffee at the Cafe at Harry's Place’s Place. We look forward to further strengthening relationships that support our community and local businesses.

'The most enjoyable part of working in the disability sector is knowing I can make a positive difference in people’s lives by supporting them to live with dignity, independence and joy.

A memorable moment this year was taking a participant to visit his family in Melbourne. Watching him reconnect with his loved ones
was incredibly moving. Being part of such an important journey reminds me how meaningful our role is in supporting not just daily needs, but also emotional and cultural wellbeing.

I enjoy forming genuine bonds with participants and getting to know their personalities, interests and stories. It is incredibly rewarding
to make a positive difference in people’s lives every day.'

'I love to empower people to thrive and live a fulfilling life. Seeing a participant smile because of something I have helped with makes every day worthwhile.

When I see the joy on a participant’s face, or when they call me ‘sister’, I know I am doing something valuable. Small acts of support can make a big difference in confidence and connection.

I have learnt so much from the participants I support in the Pathways Program. Everyone is different and everyone has their own capability. I feel lucky to work and support people with a disability.'
