📢 Waitlist Update – Non-Urgent Referrals

We would like to provide an update regarding our current wait times.

Due to an extremely high volume of referrals and ongoing demand for paediatric services, our wait time for non-urgent referrals is currently approximately 18–24 months.

We understand this is a long time to wait, and we truly appreciate how difficult that can be for families. Please know that our team is working diligently to review referrals, prioritise children based on clinical urgency, and support as many families as possible.

If your child’s condition changes or becomes more urgent while waiting, we encourage you to revisit your GP to discuss updated information, as this may alter the triage category.

We kindly ask for patience and understanding toward our administrative team. They are committed to helping every family and are doing their very best under significant demand.

🎄💫 Christmas Office Closure 💫🎄
As the year comes to a close, our clinic will be taking a short break to spend time with loved ones and rest up for 2026.
We will be closed from Saturday 20th December 2025 to, reopening on Monday 5th January 2026.

⚠️ Cyclone Closure Notice ⚠️

Due to the current Cyclone Watch/Warning, our clinic will be closed on Friday 21st November 2025 to ensure the safety of our patients, families, and staff.

We will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. All affected appointments will be rescheduled once operations resume.

Please stay safe, follow NT Emergency guidelines, and keep an eye on official updates.

For any emergencies during this time, please call 000 or head to either Regional Palmerston Hospital, or Royal Darwin Hospital Emergency Department.
