I'm walking to remember those lost to su***de and help people in need.

Tragically, every year over 65,000 Australians attempt to take their own life and over 3,000 Australians die by su***de. Lifeline receives over 1 million contacts from people in crisis each year. Su***de has devastating impact on friends and loved ones. For World Su***de Prevention Day (Sept 21), I will be taking part in Out of the Shadows and walking for the 9 people lost to su***de every day. I'm walking to raise funds for Lifeline to provide su***de prevention services and support for Australians in need.

Together, we can ensure that no one has to face their darkest moments alone.

We’re excited to let you know that our first group activity of September will be held on Friday, 19th September at Queens Park (see attached map with the location circled).
🕙 Time: 10:00am – 1:00pm
⚽ Activities: Ball games & fun activities
🌭 Food: Sausage sizzle provided
☀️ Please bring: Sun safety gear (hat, sunscreen, and a water bottle).

We will have a shaded area set up along with a picnic blanket. If you or your client would prefer chairs for extra comfort, please feel free to bring them along.

Meeting Time: Clients and supports are asked to meet at the office at 2:30 PM for checks and boarding the bus.

Recommended Age: 14 years and over
Fright Night features intense scares and may not be suitable for everyone.
Please wear comfortable clothing and shoes suitable for walking and standing.
Personal belongings should be kept secure at all times.

Clients wishing to attend will need to submit ticket money to admin prior to the event to secure their spot.
A form will be provided to confirm attendance and payment.

For travel purposes, we will be organising a bus for attendees.
An extra form for bus travel is attached and must be completed to confirm your spot on the bus.

Staff will accompany clients to ensure safety and enjoyment.
Please inform staff of any concerns, health considerations, or accessibility needs prior to the event.

We would like to let everyone know that we have organised a range of school holiday activities that your children may be interested in participating in with Lander Support. Please find attached an overview of the program. We kindly ask that our participants RSVP by 12 September 2025 if the participant would like to attend.

Where a cost applies payment can be made prior to the activity date through the ladies in the office who will then mark it off as paid. Just for clarification the age group for the school holiday program is between 5 years and 16 years.

The children will be required to either be accompanied by a support worker, guardian and or a parent to attend. Please refer to the attached documentation whether the food is supplied cost or activities that will be happening. With the movie day, two movies will be selected and the children will have a choice as to which movie they would prefer. 💙
