In this heartwarming moment, we see Molly quietly sitting alongside one of our young participants, both completely immersed in storytime. 🐶 

Molly’s calm, friendly presence offers more than just companionship,  she creates a safe, soothing space that encourages communication, builds confidence, and supports emotional regulation. For many children, especially those with speech and language goals, having Molly close by helps reduce anxiety, making it easier to engage, express themselves, and enjoy the session.

Honouring Our Past, Empowering Our Future- The Next Generation: Strength, Vision & Legacy

This week, we come together in reflection, to honour the Elders who held culture through silence and struggle, who carried songlines across generations, and who gave us the strength to walk forward with pride.

Their footsteps formed the ground we now stand on.

This year's theme invites us to look ahead,  to nurture our young ones, protect our stories, and plant seeds that will grow into legacies of healing, leadership, and cultural strength. It reminds us that we are not only survivors of history, but shapers of tomorrow.

We see it in the courage of our youth.
In language reclaimed.
In the quiet power of Country.
In the way mob gather to lift one another.

At That Therapy & Support Hub, we carry this spirit with us every day. We are proud to be an Indigenous owned clinic, co-founded by Morgan, a descendant of the Dharawal and Widjabul people , and Cody a proud Badjiri and Wiradjuri man.

Our work is more than therapy, it's about nurturing what’s been overlooked, honouring every way of being, and supporting growth that’s grounded in identity and community.

Every conversation, every connection, every act of care is an investment in the next generation. Our clinic exists to walk beside our community, not just to support, but to empower. To help our people rise, find strength, and create new paths grounded in culture, belonging, and possibility.

We do this work with quiet determination, because we know what it means to keep going when the road is long. And we believe, with all our hearts, that our future is worth everything.

Thursday PD was with Cody from New Leaf Social Work: Understanding & Responding to Suicidality and Self-Harm.

This is important for our team to upskill in recognising, understanding, and responding appropriately to suicidality and self-harm across the lifespan.

Exciting Update from That Therapy and Support Hub

We’ve been absolutely blown away by the incredible support and demand for our services , thank you to everyone who continues to trust our wonderful team who we value so very much !

To help meet this growing need, we’re thrilled to welcome two new Senior Occupational Therapists to our team

This week, we welcomed the wonderful Althea, an experienced, neuroafirming ,compassionate OT, and we are so excited to have her on board!

Our expanded team now has increased capacity for Occupational Therapy. These spots are limited and filling quickly.
