🎄 Feeling the Stress of Christmas? You’re Not Alone

The holiday season can be a time of joy for many but for others, it brings pressure, difficult emotions, and feelings of overwhelm. Expectations around family, finances, social events, and tradition can intensify stress, loneliness, grief, or anxiety.

If Christmas is feeling heavy this year, that’s okay. Feeling overwhelmed doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means you’re human.

✨ Here’s what you deserve this holiday season:
💛 Permission to rest
💛 Permission to say no
💛 Permission to take care of yourself
💛 Permission to ask for help

If things feel too much, reaching out for support can make a real difference. You don’t have to cope alone.

Hi everyone. We are thrilled to introduce Zach who has recently joined Younique Abilities. Please join me in welcoming him.

My name’s Zach and I’ve been a Disability Support Worker for the past two years. I’m also a proud dad of four, two boys and two girls. Helping people has always been something I naturally gravitate toward, so finding a career where I get to do that every day has been incredibly rewarding.

I have experience supporting individuals with ASD, ADHD, and complex needs. I hold a Certificate III in Individual Support, and before that I studied music at a private university. Music has always been a huge part of my life. I’m mainly a guitarist and I love being able to share that passion with others.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me at my other full-time job: being a dad. My hobbies include playing pool, riding my motorcycle, jamming on guitar, gaming, and making people laugh whenever I get the chance.

Being a parent to two high-needs children has given me not only hands-on experience, but also a deep sense of patience, empathy, and understanding of ASD. I know firsthand how important the right support is, not just for the individual, but for the whole family.

That’s why I’m committed to making a positive difference in the lives of the people I work with, and supporting the families who are there for them every single day.

Here to support you every step of the way,
Zach
