Younique Abilities are offering an STA (short term accommodation) to attend Ability Fest 2024 in Brisbane on October 26th. This will be a fantastic event and we are excited to be going. We have a spot available for 1:2 funded STA from Friday 25th October to Sunday 27th. Accommodation will be an air bnb. The cost of accommodation, the festival, food travel etc will all be covered by the STA cost. Please let us know if you would like to join us 🙂

Hello, I’m Ethan. I have a passion for assisting people with disabilities and giving them the support they need. I was inspired to join the industry by my uncle who has a disability of his own, and finds it hard to get the correct support he needs. My mother also works in the industry which has given me a leading foot into the direction of the Disability sector of Individual support. I have completed Certificate 3 in Community Services and have almost completed Certificate 3 in Individual Support.

Ideally, i would love to work with people who struggle with mental health and find it difficult to do day to day tasks. I have my own lived experience with mental health, and with my experience I would like to help others and assist them with the knowledge and experience I have taken from that. I am also accepting of LGBTQ+, and am apart of the Community myself so I would like to help by using my experiences to assist those who may struggle living their day to day and struggle to find acceptance in their local LGBTQ+ community.

My hobbies are camping, 4x4 driving and playing computer games. I have a pet Daschund called Minnie.
I have interest in automotive and would love to help a client with working on their car by using my experience as a Roadside Assistance Technician to teach them different ways to fix/maintain their vehicles to a safe and reliable standard.
I can provide supports in Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley areas.
I look forward to being able to assist you 🙂

These are some of the photos from our visit to the Queensland Museum today. We had a fantastic time. There is SO much to see there. Of course we did a bit of gift shopping and a bite to eat at the Cafe.
We were also lucky to see a performance and informative talk from a local Indigenous artist.

Amy did her first day today at RSPCAs Happy Paws Happy Hearts program and had a fantastic time. I think Amy might have made some new friends today as well 💜

Hi everyone. Lately I have been hearing alot that NDIS participants are finding it hard to find reliable yard/garden maintenance, cleaning and maintenance services that are within the maximum NDIS rate. So I am working on putting together a contact list for sole traders and small businesses that fit this criteria.
I want to make it clear that I'm not financially benefiting from doing this. I'm also not going to be providing details on larger businesses as I believe they are able to promote their services and most likely already linked in with support coordinators.
So, my main focus is participants who are trying to find these services who are finding it difficult.
If you are are sole trader or small business that fits this criteria, or you are a participant needing to find these types of services please touch base with me. Thank you 😊

I had so much fun purchasing items to donate to Operation Christmas Child and supporting Sherie Navin at Junk Made who is doing an amazing job sorting and packing all of the items donated by wonderful community members.
