Car seat safety is not a joke, and it’s definitely not something people are just being “over the top” about. It’s real. It’s serious. And in the event of a crash—it can be the difference between life and death.
Car crashes are the number one cause of death for children aged 1–14 in Australia. And shockingly, over 50% of car seats are installed or used incorrectly—putting children at serious risk every time they’re in the car.
This is exactly why I take my job as a Type 1 Child Restraint Fitter so seriously. Every strap, every buckle, every clip matters. Because our kids deserve to be safe, no matter what.
If you’re ever unsure if your seat is correctly installed or adjusted, please reach out. I’m here to help.
Safety first. Every single time. No exceptions.
I don't care how late I am, I will always make sure my kids are buckled in correctly.
Running behind? Oh well.
People waiting? They'll live.
Because nothing, and I mean nothing is more important than my child's safety.
I will fix twisted straps.
I will tighten that harness.
I will double check chest clips and make sure every buckle is right where it needs to be.
I don't care if it takes an extra 2 minutes or 20, my kids will be safe before we even think about moving that car.
Being late won't hurt us.
But cutting corners on car seat safety just might.
Safety first. Every single time. No exceptions.
