Introducing NEPTUNE to the family π
This beautiful male tuxedo cat found me in late April when he wandered into my back yard to say hi.
He was underweight but very friendly. I thought he was the neighbours cat, but after chatting to them, I found out he wasn't their cat they'd just been feeding him. Their son had named him Neptune, so I started calling him that.
I then started leaving food outside for him, and he started sleeping in my garage in a bed I made for him. After a few weeks of this , he then started coming inside when I was getting his food ready, to the dislike of my first fur baby Ness π
As winter had started and it was getting cold, one night he fell asleep inside and this began him adopting himself to me π₯°
Once he trusted me, I took him to the vets to find he had a microchip. I found out he was born in September 2021, and his name was actually Neptune. I mean, talk about trippy or a sign from the universe ! β¨οΈ
I spoke to the lady on his microchip to find out she had him when he was about 1 as his original owners couldn't keep him. She had him for a year until the original owners demanded him back. Reluctantly, she gave him back only to learn when the vets called a few weeks ago that the original owners gave him away, then those people gave him to an elderly lady, but Neptune ran away.
I'm not sure how long he was living on the street, but he's a gentle loving soul, and after hearing what happened to him and realising he has a fear of men, I had to keep him!! Even though Ness isn't the greatest fan of the idea π¬ She has now accepted him after I took the two of them to my parents' 5 acres for 2 weeks while I house sat for them.
I've never had such an affectionate cat, he lays on my chest, cuddling me π₯°ππ₯°
I absolutely love him and am so glad he found me!!
The funny thing is he and my 17 year old Tuxedo cat Ness came to me in almost the same circumstances, and they look almost identical, per the last photo β€οΈ
