🌟 Full Circle Moments in Toowoomba 🌟

Today was one of those beautiful reminders of the impact we leave on others.

An ex-participant of Toowoomba Care Support Services, now living elsewhere, made a special trip back into town—just for the day. And who did they want to catch up with? Our annoying boss man Franky!

That simple gesture said it all. It made Franky feel proud, valued, and truly special. Sometimes, the most meaningful recognition doesn’t come with fanfare—it comes with a visit, a familiar face, and the words: “I wanted to see you.”

To everyone who shows up for others in ways that matter—you’re making a difference, even when you don’t see it right away. 💙

Today we had the absolute pleasure of celebrating Chris’ birthday over a fun-filled lunch, surrounded by good good, big smiles and a few too many servings of cake! 🍰

Joining him were a few of his incredible support team members and admin team, who brought laughs, the cheer and the unofficial title of “professional party starters”.

Here’s to another year of happiness, cheeky jokes and living life to the fullest - one birthday at a time! 🥳🎉

📦 Big Moves, Bigger Hearts 💪
Here at Toowoomba Care Support Services, we don’t just talk the talk—we shift boxes too.

When one of our participants needed a hand moving house, guess who stepped up to do the heavy lifting? Yep, boss man Franky himself!
From lugging beds to navigating tight hallways, Franky rolled up his sleeves and showed what true leadership looks like: doing the hard work side by side.
Nah not really, we just like giving him the physically hard shifts 😅

Support doesn’t stop at paperwork—it’s about showing up, heart first.
So here’s to Franky and every one of our team members who go beyond the call to make life a little lighter, one box at a time. 🏡❤️

🎣 Cooby Dam Adventures ❄️
Took a young angler out for a day on the water at Cooby Dam, and what a session it turned out to be!
We pushed through the icy frost at dawn—rods in hand, breath visible, and spirits high.

Ended the day with 7 solid yellowbellies heading home for the table, and a few Murray cod that gave us a good fight before being respectfully released back into the depths.

Cold fingers, warm hearts, historic laughs and memories made.
Fishing isn’t just about the catch—it’s about the connection, the challenge, and the quiet moments between casts.

P.s in the comment section of this post is a video we captured of a cheeky eagle trying to hunt our released cod!

🎉🎂 Big happy birthday to DJ 🎂🎉

We had such a lovely day celebrating with his support workers and family - delicious lunch lots of laughs, and of course, cake (because what’s a birthday without cake?)

So great to see everyone together making DJ’s day extra special 🥳💙

❤️ Here's a quick update from us ❤️

A couple of our participants have come down with rhinovirus and COVID-19. Our amazing support workers are still providing care while taking all the necessary precautions.

We’ve made sure our team has PPE so they can keep doing their important work safely and ensuring our participants safety. Plus, we’ve stocked up first aid kits in their cars—because you never know when you might need one!

We’re all about keeping our community safe, so thanks for your understanding and support. Stay well, stay safe and most crucially, care from the heart ❤️

We had a fantastic time celebrating our dearest Dawn’s birthday over a delicious lunch! 🥩

Great food, lots of laughs, and just the right amount of cake 🎂 She’s officially one year wiser-and still way ahead of us in charm and wit! ✨

🌿🏕️ **Adventure awaits on North Stradbroke Island!** 🏕️🌿

Nate is making the most of his camping trips with us, and this time, he's soaking in everything North Stradbroke Island has to offer! 🌊✨

From **fishing under the golden sun** 🎣 to **stargazing in the nightsky**💫 it's all about unwinding, enjoying nature, and icecream while taking in those breathtaking island views. ⛺🌅

Thank you Nate, for the unforgetable memories and putting your trust in us. Here's to more unforgettable adventures in the great outdoors! 👍💚

💥💢Safety Hazard Ahead 💢💥

We were pleasantly surprised to have the chance to support a participant in a rather unexpected adventure. After a few screams, plenty of laughs, and maybe even a few strokes, we finally made it to our destination! Or did we? 🤨
