In 2023, Phil was diagnosed with prostate cancer.
Like many people facing cancer, life changed quickly—and the physical and emotional toll of treatment made even simple things, like walking, feel difficult.

But Phil is not one to stay still for long.

On Wednesday 29 April, he’s taking on a powerful personal challenge—walking from the Jenny Black Cancer Wellness Centre to Cambooya 😮

Not just for himself.
But to give back.

Because throughout his experience, Hope Horizons has been there—supporting Phil, his family, and so many others impacted by cancer.

Now, he’s turning that support into action.

A month or so ago, I had the pleasure of visiting the Toowoomba Icon Cancer Centre - Australia at St Andrew's Toowoomba Hospital. It was a pleasure to meet the staff and talk about the role of Physiotherapy (and the pelvic floor) in radiation treatment for prostate cancer.
