Fact: Endometriosis can affect far more than your menstrual cycle, with symptoms that may include pelvic pain, bloating, fatigue, bowel changes, pain during in*******se, and sometimes fertility challenges.

Because symptoms can vary and change over time, diagnosis is often delayed. If ongoing symptoms are affecting your daily life, speaking with your GP about a referral to TOAG can be an important step toward specialist assessment and support.

For many women, symptoms such as persistent pelvic pain, heavy periods, bloating, fatigue, or discomfort during everyday activities can become something they simply learn to live with. But ongoing symptoms deserve attention.

Understanding what is normal for your body and what may need further discussion is an important part of protecting your long-term health.

If symptoms have been affecting your daily life, our symptom checklist is a helpful place to start. https://toag.com.au/womens-health/endometriosis-symptom-checklist/

Morning sickness is common in early pregnancy, but that doesn’t make it any easier to manage. Often beginning around week 6, nausea is linked to the hormonal changes supporting the baby’s growth. Here are a few simple ways to ease symptoms as you move towards the second trimester:

Snack small: Try small, frequent meals to keep your system settled.
Avoid triggers: Steer clear of strong odours and spicy/greasy foods that may set you off.
Stay hydrated: Sip water or fluids slowly and often throughout the day.
Prioritise rest: Nurture your body with extra sleep and stress management where possible.
Professional guidance: Reach out to your care team to discuss if medication or other interventions might be right for you.

Most women find relief by week 12–14, but in the meantime, remember to listen to your body and move at your own pace.
