I was definitely born with the horse bug in my system. I've ridden since the age of 6 (that's the earliest the German riding school would take me!) and was fortunate enough to be gifted the responsibility of a pony for my 10th birthday. A love that teaches you about responsibility of another, selflessness, empathy, emotional regulation, endurance and resilience. I've ridden for fun through the mountains in the snow to FEI level Dressage with my current competition horse and want to take the next step in sharing the beauty that horses have to offer. I have been in the residential youth work sector for 5 years now. From supporting a number of young people to develop life skills and better coping strategies through therapeutic response implementation to being a part of a learning & Development team as a trainer; a position that allows me to influence a greater number of Youth Workers to view moments as a teaching opportunity. The power of being a role model and support is enormous. So, my thinking was - I coach individuals in their journey with their equine partners and I have supported young people in my roles in the residential youth work sector.. why not combine my two passions. I want to build a community, a community of support that inspires each other to achieve greatness. Through Mindfulness, genuine love for animals and relationship, I am passionate to support and teach individuals to identify and regulate their emotions, enjoy what life has to offer and be emersed in its' kindness. What I offer:
Equine assisted learning, riding lessons and meaningful animal encounters. I am a qualified in Youth Work, Adult Education, Therapeutic Crisis Intervention and Equestrian coaching.
