About the Role:

As a Support Specialist – Generalist, you will take ownership of a portfolio of participants and ensure their supports are not just in place — but working.

You’ll be actively involved in:

· Identifying gaps in supports and addressing them early.

· Strengthening relationships with participants, families, and support teams.

· Guiding and supporting Support Workers to deliver consistent, quality care.

· Making decisions, solving problems, and adapting supports as needs change.

This role requires someone who is hands-on, responsive, and confident managing competing priorities. ✨

Hi Magenta Fam, Happy Thursday! 🥰

We wanted to share with you an amazing artwork done by one of our incredibly talented participants Rozie! 🖌🎨👩‍🎨

Rozie described the meaning of her beautiful artwork for us:

Each coloured hand represents a member of Magenta’s leadership team, different people, different strengths, all standing together. 🖐️

The four hearts reflect the four regions Magenta proudly supports, each one important and valued. ✨

At the centre sits one team, with black lines connecting every hand to it. The lines aren’t straight, they show that everyone’s journey is different, but they all lead to the same place. 🔆

A shared purpose. 💫

A reminder that no matter the role or region, everyone is connected, working together, with one heart. 💗

Thank you so much Rozie for creating this incredibly special artwork for us, it is so meaningful and full of Magenta heart, just like you! We know that our Leadership Team absolutely love it too! 😍

💗 In Memory of Jenny Dowell 💗

Our hearts are heavy today as we acknowledge the passing of Jenny, a truly respected and much-loved figure in the Northern Rivers community.

Jenny dedicated many years of service as Mayor, and her impact reached far beyond her role. She was a passionate advocate for inclusion, social justice, and the wellbeing of others, leaving a lasting legacy across our region.

Jenny was also a strong supporter of Magenta Community Services, and we are forever grateful for her role in opening our initial office on Rous Road—something that helped shape who we are today.

Her commitment, compassion, and leadership will not be forgotten.

Our thoughts are with her family, friends, and all those who had the privilege of knowing her. Rest peacefully, Jenny. Your legacy will live on in the community you helped build. ❤️

Thank you to everyone who donated to our Magenta Team, helped out with preparations in the lead up or who came and help set up on the day. Huge thank you to those who came and walked laps in memory of their loved ones both past and present. It was such a special event, well done Lismore Fam!!! 💗✨
