A little louder for the ladies up the back 🙌🏼
Let’s re-frame our period care mindset in 2025 - no more accepting ‘that’s just how it is’ or ‘it’s just part of being a woman’ (or having a uterus) - an incredibly misinformed concept coined by medical professionals without said uterus many, many decades ago. I’ll never not be an advocate for women’s health and promoter of pain-free periods. Interested? Let’s work together to achieve painless periods ✨🩸

Excuse the sickly look, your girl is recovering from the dreaded ‘rona 😷

If you had told 16 year old me that in 10 years you will be living the life of your dreams, growing your rainbow baby, with the ability to spend your days convalescing from illness outside, in YOUR garden, in the fresh air, harvesting herbs to turn into tea/tinctures/extracts from your very own medicinal herb garden - I would have called you crazy. This is not the path/career/life I envisioned for myself a decade ago but I am so, so grateful it is where I have ended up. Thoroughly enjoying the skills I have developed and knowledge I have gained to garden and manufacture my own herbal remedies and the career that has come alongside. There is something truely magical about getting out into the garden, soil in your hands, connecting with the earth in the most simple way possible. Here’s hoping this baby girl enjoys helping out in the garden and making her own herbal medicines one day 💕✨

- Turning his phone off half to one hour before retiring 📵
- Making sure his room is dark, cool and has fresh air flow 🛌
- No caffeine after midday ☕️

✨Healthy habits to try and implement in 2024✨
January: All about getting back into a normal routine after the silly season and few weeks of what I like to consider ‘chaos’ that surrounds Christmas.
How?
- Start with small additions or removals from your current day-to-day activities (aka set a regular wake-up time close to when you wake up now and adjust 5-10 minutes earlier every week until you reach your desired rising time)
- Make things easy! (Put a glass of water on your bedside so you remember to drink some first thing when you wake; meal-prep/pre-make breakfast (and other meals) so they are ready to go)
- Jot down or right out your routine so you can keep track and follow it during those first few days/weeks until it becomes habit
- Include something you enjoy or look forward to (where possible) (I finish my morning routine off with a coffee, which I look forward to and helps me get through the rest of my morning tasks!)
