Welcome to all those who have just joined us.

Open hours for spring are:-
Monday closed
Tuesday - Sunday
9am - 3pm

Members and guests have access to all the resources and materials we have available.

If you would like to use the centre outside of these times please let us know. Private room hire can be arrange.

Centre memberships are $35/month paid in advance.
Non members can access the centre during opening hours at a cost of $17.50 for up to 3 hours.

We are also looking for volunteers in the centre.
Must be atleast 15 years of age
Be creative and hapy to share skills with others OR
Enjoy playing video or board games

I have always believed that giving back to the community and standing up and making a difference where you can is important.

It has been a struggle over the last 20 years and many times I have had to stop and pick myself up. My passion of helping others and creating a space where others can create connections, feel as they belong and be accepted as they are is finally coming to fruition. I would like to thank all those who have supported me to keep going.

Miss MJ's Creativity Centre, MJ's Support Services and MJ & Co. Handmade are located in Highfields, Toowoomba. We are a social enterprise run entirely by volunteers, supporting those who are searching for a place to belong and thrive. Now offering a space for children, teens, young adults and retirees.

We do not restrict who can attend. Anyone who has a need for support (social, entrepreneurial or functional) can join as a member ($35/month) and start attending our social clubs and accessing our drop in hub. We accept private paying and can invoice to NDIS when appropriate. We also have a pay it forward campaign set up to assist those who are unable to access due to financial reasons.

If you would like to be part of this growing enterprise there are a number of opportunities both in person and from a distance.

We are not registered as a not for profit or charity and are not looking to become one anytime soon. However we would welcome any assistance and advice on how to improve our operations.

Ways to be involved:-
+ Volunteer your time and skills
- run a group within the centre
- behind the scenes admin duties (there are heaps)
- social media promotions and group admins
- sales assistant at MJ & Co. Handmade (9am - 12pm Tuesday - Friday)
- grant writing (not sure how to do this)
-become a committee member to guide our future direction
- join our youth committee (guide programs and events)
- When you have attended our space, please leave a review ( Facebook or google) and spread the word.

+Donate craft tools and consumables when doing a clean out

+ Donate to our pay it forward campaign (we hope to be able to provide 5 yearly centre memberships for those financially disadvantaged).

What a week!!!
