The Evolve Team recently attended a NASOG (National Association of Specialist Obstetricians and Gynecologists) conference in Brisbane engaging in professional development. The day was full of updates and practical insights providing an opportunity to connect with peers, decision-makers and industry partners. We might be biased but we think they chose the right MC speaker for the job!

We're thrilled to welcome Dr. Kendra Hopper to our Team! As a final-year Advanced Trainee in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Dr. Kendra is completing her RANZCOG specialty training with us and will transition to a Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist upon Fellowship in August 2026.

Dr Kendra has gained valuable experience from Mater Mothers' Hospital, Toowoomba Base Hospital & Flying O&G Services in obstetrics and general gynaecology, bringing an evidence-based approach infused with compassion and clear communication. As a mother of four, she understands the realities of pregnancy, birth, and balancing family life.

Her passion for Women’s Health makes her the perfect addition to our team. Dr Kendra will be 1 of 4 female specialists in Toowoomba come August giving you more health options to choose from with her books now OPEN! As of now Dr Kendra is available for consultations, referrals, and building those long-term relationships we value here at Evolve. Please join us in welcoming her to our Team.

Our First Evolve baby for 2026 and the first baby born at St Vincent's Private Hospital Toowoomba this year. Congratulations Megan and Sam and welcome beautiful little Mia.

A very warm welcome to Mia Kate Frost, the first baby born at St Vincent’s Private Hospital Toowoomba in 2026 💜💙

Mia arrived on 2 January 2026, weighing a healthy 3,230 grams, and is already stealing hearts. Proud first-time parents Megan and Sam are thrilled to welcome their beautiful daughter and feel honoured to be the parents of our first baby of the year.

“The midwives and Dr Chettle have been supportive throughout the whole experience," Megan and Sam said.

A special thank you to Dr David Chettle, and to our wonderful midwives Angela and Leah, who supported the family throughout the admission and birth journey.

Congratulations Megan and Sam, and welcome to the world, Mia.
