Let's continue with 11 weeks and this little one is already full of mischief 😆👶

This 11-week cheeky bubba had me smiling the entire scan…

Wiggling…
Stretching…
Rolling around…
And absolutely refusing to stay still 🤣

One minute baby was perfectly positioned…
The next minute — gone… flipped… and off again like a tiny little gymnast 🤸‍♀️

I always say… at 11 weeks, babies are tiny… but their personalities are already HUGE 💕

And can we just talk about how adorable 11-week babies are?
Little gummy bear vibes… tiny wiggles… and so much cheekiness already

11 Weeks Pregnant… and baby is getting even more adorable 👶✨

Remember my **10-week post** where I said babies looked like little **gummy bears** (and I was completely obsessed)? 🥳

Well… at **11 weeks**, those little gummy bears start looking even more like tiny babies… and the movements are just the sweetest thing to watch.

At an **11-week abdominal ultrasound**, you may see:

✨ A beautifully formed little baby shape
✨ A strong, clear heartbeat 💓
✨ Head, body, arms and legs clearly visible
✨ Tiny stretches and wiggles
✨ Baby moving around more (sometimes a lot!)
✨ Baby starting to look less curled and more like a tiny person

At 11 weeks, baby is about the size of a lime 🍋‍🟩
Still small… but growing quickly and full of personality already.

One of my favourite parts of 11-week scans?
Watching those little wiggles and stretches… sometimes baby looks like they’re doing tiny little exercises in there 🤣

A few things to remember:
• Staying hydrated is super important
• Baby is still small, so patience is key
• Every pregnancy develops at its own pace

It’s incredible how much changes week by week… and 11 weeks is such a sweet stage to see your tiny miracle growing 💕

What an incredible start to 2026 it has been! I am so grateful for all the beautiful families who have trusted me to be part of your journey already this year.

🐰With Easter and the school holidays here, Miracle of Life Toowoomba will be taking a short break for some family time.

✨ Closed from tomorrow (Thursday)
✨ Reopening Thursday April 16th at 9am

Appointments for April 16th, 17th and 18th are already very limited, so if you’ve been thinking about booking, I highly recommend securing your spot now.

🌺 Open Saturday April 25th for ANZAC Day

Oh my goodness… this week has been FULL of excitement!
I was absolutely manifesting girls this week…
I even wore my bright pink work pants to try and push the girls into the lead! 💗✨
But… the boys had other plans… 😆
With some incredibly excited families discovering they’re expecting BABY BOYS, I couldn’t help but feel every bit of that joy right along with them. There is just something so special about those moments — the smiles, the happy tears, the pure excitement. 🥹💙
So here’s where we’re sitting now…
💙 Boys: 59
💗 Girls: 56
The boys are still holding the lead… but girls, you are CLOSE! 👀
I have a feeling this race is far from over… and honestly… I LOVE the excitement of it all!

Pregnancy cravings… the weird, the wonderful, the tasty… and the absolutely disgusting 🤣🤰

Let’s be honest… pregnancy cravings make ZERO sense.

One minute you're crying because you need:
🍟 Hot chips with extra salt
🥒 Pickles straight from the jar
🍦 Ice cream at 9am
🍉 Fruit… all the fruit

And then suddenly…

You’re craving:
🤨 Vegemite on apples
🤢 Ice cubes (just… ice cubes?)
😳 Tomato sauce on everything
🤣 Cheese and chocolate together
😬 Dry Weet-Bix (why??)

And don’t forget the pregnancy logic:
✨ Must have it RIGHT NOW
✨ If you don’t get it… it’s devastating
✨ Once you get it… you don’t want it anymore

Pregnancy is magical… but also slightly unhinged 🤣

The subtle little frowns…
The tiny smiles…
And those sweet little expressions that change in seconds… I just can’t handle it 😍

One minute he looked like he was deep in thought…
The next… the tiniest little smile appeared… and my heart was gone 💕

It’s these little personality moments that make every scan so special.
Watching them already showing who they are before they’re even earthside is just magic ✨

✨ A Kind Update About Appointment No-Shows ✨
Running a small business is something I truly love. Every appointment I book is time set aside especially for you and your baby — and I take that responsibility seriously. 💛
Recently, I’ve seen an increase in appointment “no-shows”, and while I completely understand that life happens (especially during pregnancy!), missed appointments have a real impact on small businesses like mine.
When an appointment is missed:
• That time was reserved just for you
• Another family may have missed out on that spot
• It leaves a gap that often can’t be filled at short notice
To help protect my time and ensure fairness for everyone, I’ve made a small policy update:
✨ $50 booking deposits remain non-refundable regardless of circumstances
✨ Clients who “no show” will be recorded in my booking system
✨ Future bookings for “no show” clients will require full prepayment
✨ “No show” clients will no longer be able to book directly via the website
This isn’t about being harsh — it’s about protecting my small business and making sure appointment times are available for families who are excited and ready to attend. 💕
I truly appreciate each and every one of you who show up, support small business, and trust me with these special moments. It means more than you know. 🩷

“Let’s kick it” 👶💥

Do you remember the first time you felt baby move?
That little flutter…
That tiny bubble…
That moment where you stop and think… “Was that… baby?” 🥳

And then before you know it…

✨ Little kicks
✨ Tiny punches
✨ Full body rolls
✨ Feet in your ribs (why though?! 🤣)
✨ Bladder trampoline sessions at 2am

Feeling baby move for the first time is one of the most magical moments in pregnancy… and also the beginning of being lovingly beaten up from the inside 😅💕

Some babies are gentle…
Some babies are wild…
And some babies clearly start training for the Olympics before they’re even born 🥊🤣

36 weeks of sass, sweetness… and ALL the feelings 💕👶

This beautiful 36-week baby girl had so much personality … but she also made me work for those sweet little face shots 🤣

Placenta in front of her face…
Snuggling away from me…
Cord drifting across…
And when I finally got a peek… she gave me ALL the expressions 😍

At 36 weeks, babies are running out of room, so it’s very normal for them to tuck themselves in and hide a little… but oh my goodness, when they do show their face, it is absolutely worth the wait 🤩

So much personality already, little miss…

9 Weeks Pregnant… and wow, baby is growing fast 👶✨

Remember my 8-week post where baby was starting to look more defined with a stronger heartbeat?

Well… at 9 weeks, things get even more exciting again 😍😍

At a 9-week ultrasound, you may see:

✨ Baby looking much more like a tiny little person
✨ A strong, obvious heartbeat 💓
✨ Head and body clearly visible
✨ Little arm and leg buds developing
✨ Tiny wiggles and movements (more common now!)

It’s honestly incredible how much changes in just one week.
That tiny little raspberry from 8 weeks is now growing fast and showing more personality already.

At 9 weeks, baby is about the size of a cherry 🍒 — still tiny, but developing beautifully.

A few things to remember:
• A full bladder still helps for abdominal scans
• Baby is still small, so patience is key
• Every pregnancy develops at its own pace

These early scans are so special… watching your little miracle grow week by week never gets old 💕
