We'd love you to join the Restoration Church community after service for a pancake brunch, September 28, 11am - 1pm.
These brunches will be a time to build relationships with others in the church, get plugged in if you've recently started attending, and provide a great opportunity to invite a friend.

You don’t do true friendship to glorify God, true friendship glorifies God.

One of the ways we should be purposeful in our relationship with God is by lifting up our hands in prayer and praise to Him (Psa 63:4, 134:2). We're encouraged by Paul in 1 Timothy that because of Jesus's good work and His position as mediator for all, we should pray together (1 Tim 2:8).
With this as our heart, we're going meet monthly as an opportunity for all men of Restoration Church to come together for prayer.
Friendship may seem simple, but living it out is harder than it looks. We all know what friendship is, yet so often we struggle to carry it through. In the latest series, Peter unpacks Jesus’ interaction with the man at the pool of Bethesda, helping us learn how to be a friend from the greatest friend of all—Jesus Himself. After this, Jesus went out and saw a tax collector by the name of Levi sitting at his tax booth. “Follow me,” Jesus said to him, and Levi got up, left everything and followed him. Luke 5:27–28

Sin makes things complicated; wisdom makes things simple.

How does change happen? How would you describe the process? Are you clear about it? Everyone has a model of change. This subject will help you to understand and apply the biblical model of change at the centre of Restoration Church.
Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding. Cherish her, and she will exalt you; embrace her, and she will honor you. She will give you a garland to grace your head and present you with a glorious crown.
Proverbs 4:5–9

WELCOME TO THE PROJECT CHURCH A Vibrant Community of Believers
The Project began when Peter and Angela Sondergeld sensed God’s call to plant a church at Toowoomba Christian College. They went about testing the call and soon realised it was clearly something God wanted them to do.
The church started out with three leaders – Peter, Difff Crowther and Nathan Gilmour – and had its first Sunday meeting on July 24, 2011.
At first the mission was simply to make disciples for Jesus, but over the years God has grown and matured the vision to one which calls us to be a vibrant community of disciples, where discipleship means being restored to true humanity (which is another way of talking about sanctification, or growing into the likeness of Christ – the true human).
The Project is invested in the community of Toowoomba Christian College, providing pastoral care, hoping to capture the hearts of school families, students and staff with the good news of the Gospel.
While The Project still feels like one big family, the congregation continues to grow steadily, God has brought more leaders into the fold and made a way for connections both nationally and internationally.
We stand in awe of a God who would use a small church in Highfields to make a difference. God seems to have big plans for this humble church and we are all just trying to walk in obedience and hang in for the ride.
