3 top tips to avoid overeating on Christmas day…🎄
1️⃣ Whilst you might want to try every dish on the table, try to only take a small portion of each and if you still feel hungry, then go back for your favourite dish. 🍝
2️⃣ Fill half your plate with vegetables or salads first 🥗
Vegetables are particularly high in fibre which helps you feel fuller for longer. So, if you know you are likely to overeat tomorrow this is one of the best tricks to ensure that you fill up on as much of the good stuff as possible.
3️⃣ Enjoy what you are eating and eat slowly 😀
It may be hard not to wolf down your favourite meal in 5 minutes. However, eating slowly allows your body time to respond to its hunger and fullness cues so that you don’t end up overeating and in a food coma…
