Meet Dr Kun Yao

We are pleased to welcome Dr Kun Yao to Drayton Medical Centre.
Dr Yao is a highly experienced GP who completed his medical degree at a military medical university in China, followed by both General Practice and Urgent Care Fellowships in New Zealand. He has many years of experience working in both general practice and urgent care, and has been serving the Queensland community since 2022 as a vocationally registered GP and Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.

Dr Yao enjoys all areas of general practice and provides care for a wide range of health conditions, from simple to complex. He is also skilled in surgical procedures and is passionate about delivering evidence based, personalised care.

He believes in building strong and trusting relationships with his patients through open communication, ensuring every patient feels supported and confident in their healthcare journey.
We are proud to have Dr Kun Yao as part of our team.
