Mr J & Mr S both moved in this week and have gelled in beautifully!

We now only have 1 final piece of the puzzle left for our WILSONTON home and as you can see, our Support team, have started the Christmas Spirit early 🥰

We are on the lookout for some more team members that are interested in joining our team that has an interest in Sleepover Shifts along with experienced supports with behavioural clientele.

We are seeking experienced support workers to work in a multiple range of homes with our expanding participant base. The main skills/attributes that we are seeking include:
⭐ Sleepover Availability
⭐ Experience with Manual Handling Hoist transfers
⭐ Behaviour escalation experience
⭐ Weekend shift availability
⭐ Experience with Personal Care responsibilities

Pay rate is as per the SCHADS award of Level 2.1 + Allowances

⭐ Male SIL within an SDA Home - Newtown (1:2/1:3 SIL Ratio)
This home is based close to the Bridge & West Street intersection and directly across from both Falveys Gowrie Road Pub & 7/11. Our current tenant is a Motor & Sport Enthusiast gentleman in his 60's who loves a coffee and if with a similar minded person, a chat.

⭐ Female SIL within an SDA Home - Torrington (1:2/1:3 SIL Ratio)
Our beautiful lady is in her 60's and is looking for a housemate, that has an interest in Arts, Crafts & enjoys the occasional boardgame. Our tenant loves her afternoon stroll around the area and also often ventures out into the city during the day to enjoy a coffee and the library.

⭐ Male SIL - Wilsonton (1:2/1:3 Ratio)
A recent addition to our Bunya Care portfolio, this gentle man in his 60s loves a yarn, a cuppa and relaxing watching movies. If you have a background from farming or the countryside, he is the perfect co-tenant for you.

⭐ Female ILO - Rockville 2 Bedrooms vacant
Our young ILO home currently has a lady in her early 20s and has a keen interest in all things painting, arts and playing UNO with her supports. This is her first time living out of home and is looking for housemates, that she can build a social friendship with and will be interested in cooking and enjoying social media with.

These 4 homes, are available immediately and would be open to hosting meet and greets to ensure that you all gel together.

We have a SIL Vacancy located within an SDA Registered home in Newtown, Toowoomba and would love to connect with Support Coordinators looking for vacancies.

This home, is based conveniently next door to a service station, across the road from a restaurant and within 5 minutes to the CBD. We are currently looking for a co-tenant to move in with our male long-term participant and vacancy would suit:
🚨Mature Aged Male
🚨Interest in sports and particular motor racing
🚨Must be okay living with a smoker
🚨Female predominate support team already in place
🚨No behaviours of concern

⭐INTAKE & ROSTERING OFFICER ⭐

Are you a superstar around rostering and intake in the Disability Sector?

We are on the lookout for our next management team member to come onboard in the role of Intake & Rostering Officer. This role will report directly to our Operations Manager and will be structured around providing support and assistance to our Service Delivery Team around rostering for our Toowoomba Clientele.

You will responsible for:
🌲Rostering for SIL & Community Shifts for 20-25
🌲Building rapport with our staff to ensure effective and efficient rostering within the SCHADS Award
🌲Identifying Recruitment requirements and providing these to the operations manager for review
🌲Supporting Operations with Intake of new clients by supporting the creation of base rosters, support plans, emergency disaster plans and all other NDIS Compliance framework
🌲Administration tasks supporting our Service & Operations team with compliance documentation for our SIL Homes
🌲Inputting to our management decisions and having the opportunity to effectively build our organisation as we continue to grow.

🌲 DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKER ROLE 🌲

We have an exciting opportunity to welcome new staff looking for a chance to promote independence and support our participants lives. Bunya Care has been established since 2021 in Kingaroy and came to Toowoomba 13 months ago where we have increased to 25 participants. We are now slowly building our caseloads towards the Warwick and Southwest downs areas to support regional communities.

This role is based in-home supporting a lovely lady in her early 50's and includes sleepover and morning work. We are ideally looking for 4-5 staff members to work on a consistent fortnightly roster and support our lovely new incoming participant.

Some finer details include:
⭐ 10hr shifts including sleepover
⭐ SCHADS $43.23 Casual rate + night time loadings apply
⭐ Opportunities for further increase in workload as we build in the region.

Work will commence ASAP!
