1:3 SIL - SDA (HPS) VACANCY TOOWOOMBA, QLD

We currently have 1 room vacant for SIL Services in a HPS Property here in Toowoomba and looking for a mature aged female to co-tenant with our lovely lady.

Our Participant is a mature aged female in her late 60s and is a social butterfly, attending the community 3-4 days a week in her powered wheelchair. When at home, she enjoys activities such as:
💎Arts & Craft
💎Board Games such as mahjong
💎Cooking
💎Spending time with her two pet birds in there enclosure

This vacancy is in collaboration with Disability Housing Solutions as the SDA Provider and Bunya Care provides SIL Supports within the home.

🧩 SIL VACANCY TOOWOOMBA 🧩

We are currently looking for a co-tenant, for our lovely young 18 yr old man with Autism.

Located on the edge of Newtown/Rockville, this Supported Independent Living (SIL) residence currently is home for a young man with ASD Level 3 and is non-verbal who is in Year 12. When not at school during the day, our young fella, loves to play on his trampoline in the backyard, go for walks around the nearby park and enjoy Youtube videos on his tablet.

We would love to introduce him to a co-tenant of similar age and diagnosis, along with our all-male support team who have been supporting him, since he joined us full time in December.

The NDIS Sector is full of highs and lows but emails like the below make it worth it!

Last week we were asked by a support coordinator if we could assist in a hospital discharge for a participant that was being asked to pay a daily fee to remain in hospital as he was deemed as no longer needing hospital support.

In 5 days our team pulled together with the SC and EPOA and we were able to successfully welcome him into our SIL. Luckily we had a potential co-tenant matching and took the participant for a walkthrough and then at a drop of the hat work from existing EPOA/OPG's of the co-tenants and we made it happen!

Working collaboratively with other providers and stakeholders is what got these over the line and this gent is now living his life, in his community 💗

It makes the lows worth it when we get the highs!

We have a great little SIL Vacancy located in Newtown close by to the Clifford Park Racecourse and walking distance to Whyalla Plaza.

This home has a younger gentleman who identifies as a proud Indigenous man and is looking for likeminded housemates in which he can build a social friendship and build skills of independence.

Are you a Service Delivery Manager with a superstar attitude and have a focus on ensuring ethical, compliant services with a focus on Participants achieving their goals.

Due to our growth, we are at a stage that we are looking for a second service manager to work alongside our current service manager and Admin team.

The Key Role is to take over a portion of our SIL and CAS Clients management including duties such as:
- Discussing with stakeholders the services
- Working alongside our Rostering/Admin officer to ensure rosters are built in advance and compliance is kept at the compliant standard
- Learning and working alongside the Ops Manager in relation to Business Development and being able to complete intake/onboarding of new clientele
