🌲 MEET OUR TEAM PT 4 🌲

Our final piece of our Toowoomba Office Puzzle is our CEO Dhanushka, or better known as Dan. Dan is the longest standing of our Toowoomba Team, commencing in September 2023 as our Accounts Guru, before moving into the role of CEO in 2024.

Dan has the ultimate heart of gold and although CEO, he still actively gets out and assists where needed in the community with our team and ensuring that he can support the team and participants ultimate success.

When not chipping away on our business, Dan has his family at home including 2 youngsters that keeps his hands full.

SLEEPOVER DISABILITY SUPPORT WORKERS WANTED‼️‼️

We have opportunities currently available for Female (Participant Preference) Support staff to join our team within a Supported Independant Living (SIL) Home.

The shifts on offer are SLEEPOVER Shifts including 7pm - 10pm + Sleepover + 6am - 10am the next morning. These shifts are providing supports where the following experience is advantageous:
🌲 Experience with Hoisting
🌲 Experience in Personal Cares
🌲 Experience with low level behaviours
🌲 Ability to work weekends and public holidays

Starting baseline rate is Casual Level 2.1 on the SCHADS Award meaning $43.23 + loadings.

Bree has been with Bunya Care since September last year and brings with her, over 8 years experience of being a Support Worker, Team Leader and Now Service Manager. 💓MEET OUR TEAM 💓

Over the coming weeks, we'd love to introduce you to the team that is here to support you and your needs at Bunya Care! Starting off with our Operations Manager, Matt.

Matt joined Bunya Care in the middle of 2024 and comes from an extensive NDIS background. As a lower leg amputee due to trauma & NDIS participant himself, Matt is a huge advocate that “A disability, is a different ability”. This was showcased when Matt was awarded the Adult Advocacy award in 2024 from the National Disability Leadership Organisation

When Matt’s not here in the office, he is normally travelling the country as an avid Pickleballer being one of the top ranked Pickleball athlete with a Disability in the country.
