Recently I have read this below article on how Bhagavat Geeta has precisely predicted the "Kali Yuga" (the present timeline) 5000 years ago. It is really interesting hence sharing here.

*Lord Caitanya's free gift*

Among His own associates, Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu laughingly said, "I came here to sell My emotional ecstatic love. Although I came to Varanasi to sell My goods, there were no customers, and it appeared necessary for Me to carry them back to My own country. All of you were feeling unhappy that no one was purchasing My goods and that I would have to carry them away. Therefore, by your will only, I have distributed them without charging."

When we began distributing the message of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu in the Western countries, a similar thing happened. In the beginning we were very disappointed for at least one year because no one came forth to help this movement, but by the grace of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu, some young boys joined this movement in 1966. Of course we distributed Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu's message of the Hare Krsna maha-mantra without bargaining or selling. As a result, this movement has spread all over the world, with the assistance of European and American boys and girls. We therefore pray for all the blessings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu upon all the devotees in the Western world who are spreading this movement.

"I AM THAT LORD" Chapter 8: Attaining the Supreme

adhibhutam ksaro bhavah
purusas cadhidaivatam
adhiyajno 'ham evatra
dehe deha-bhrtam vara
SYNONYMS
adhibhutam—the physical manifestation; ksarah—constantly changing; bhavah—nature; purusah—the universal form; ca—and; adhidaivatam—including all demigods like the sun and moon; adhiyajnah—the Supersoul; aham—I (Krsna); eva—certainly; atra—in this; dehe—body; deha-bhrtam—of the embodied; vara—the Supreme.
TRANSLATION
Physical nature is known to be endlessly mutable. The universe is the cosmic form of the Supreme Lord, and I am that Lord represented as the Supersoul, dwelling in the heart of every embodied being.
PURPORT
The physical nature is constantly changing. Material bodies generally pass through six stages: they are born, they grow, they remain for some duration, they produce some by-products, they dwindle, and then they vanish. This physical nature is called adhibhutam. Because it is created at a certain point and will be annihilated at a certain point, the conception of the universal form of the Supreme Lord that includes all the demigods and their different planets is called adhidaivatam. The individual soul (jiva) accompanies the body. The Supersoul, a plenary representation of Lord Krsna, is called the Paramatma or adhiyajna and is situated in the heart. The word eva is particularly important in the context of this verse because by this word the Lord stresses that the Paramatma is not different from Him. The Supersoul, the Supreme Personality of Godhead, seated beside the individual soul, is the witness of the individual soul's activities and is the source of consciousness. The Supersoul gives the jiva an opportunity to act freely, and He witnesses his activities. The functions of all these different manifestations of the Supreme Lord automatically become clarified for the pure Krsna conscious devotee engaged in transcendental service of the Lord. The gigantic universal form of the Lord called adhidaivatam is contemplated by the neophyte who cannot approach the Supreme Lord in His manifestation as Supersoul. The neophyte is advised to contemplate the universal form whose legs are considered the lowet planets and whose eyes are considered the sun and moon, and whose head is considered the upper planetary system.

The festival of Makar Sankranti is an opportunity for a spiritual awakening and to embody Krishna's teachings in daily life. The core messages related to the festival include:
Dharma and Duty: The sun itself is seen as a karma-yogi (one who performs duty selflessly), carrying out its function of providing light and energy relentlessly on Krishna's order. The festival encourages individuals to perform their own prescribed duties (dharma) without attachment to the results.
Charity and Selflessness: Acts of charity and donation are highly significant on this day, as Krishna highlights that selfless acts purify the heart and lead to liberation. Donating food, warm clothes, and grains is a common practice.
Inner Reflection: The transition of the sun from south to north is a metaphor for turning one's vision inward, moving from the darkness of illusion to the light of divine knowledge and wisdom.
Devotion and Surrender: The most important aspect is to renew one's devotion (bhakti) to the Supreme Lord. By offering all actions and their results to Krishna, one can remain free from karmic bo***ge.

*The ecstasy of love*

Gopis, they are full of anxiety: "Oh, Krsna has gone to the pasturing ground." Their anxiety is there. Just like Rukmini, she was thinking, "Oh, Krsna may not give me up. He is talking in this way." She fainted. So anxiety is there. So that..., the anxiety is that one may not be separated from Krsna. That is the anxiety. And actually there is no separation, but the feeling of separation out of ecstatic love. Just like one who has got love for the other person, beloved, he always thinks like that, "My beloved may not be separated from me." This is ecstasy of love. Just like a miser man who has got much wealth, he always thinks, "My money may not be lost. My money may not be lost." Out of his too much attachment for the money, he thinks like that. Is it not? "How shall I protect this money? How shall I protect this?"
