The Support at Home program introduces a new approach to home care, designed to make services simpler, clearer, and easier to access. It replaces the Home Care Package system and introduces quarterly budgets, clearer funding guidelines, and faster access to assistive technology and home modifications.
Participants now contribute to services through a per-service co-contribution depending on the type of support they receive, with rates determined by Services Australia.
