Small wins 😂

Started running recently and this morning I got up, got dressed, walked out the door… and discovered it was drizzling.

Naturally, my first thought was, “Well, that’s unfortunate. Guess I should go back to bed immediately.” 😴 🛌

But I pushed on and discovered something shocking: apparently I do NOT melt in the rain or die from mild inconvenience. My boyfriend will be thrilled I’ve finally discovered this truth for myself 😂.

And honestly? Running in the drizzle was actually kind of pleasant. Cool air, no blazing sun, felt mildly athletic instead of like a dying potato 🏃‍♀️🌧️

It got me thinking — it’s a bit like skin checks. Easy to avoid, easy to put off, but catching things early before they become a bigger problem is always the better option.

Turns out a little discomfort now can save a whole lot later. Also turns out I’m annoyingly capable of running in weather that’s less than “perfect.” Character development everywhere today 😂
