"Sorry I missed your call..."

But think about it. How would you feel, as a paying client, if I stopped half a dozen times during your massage to take a call?

Sorry, but the body on my table takes priority. And, I am my own admin, so it's really never going to get any easier to catch me on the phone.

Please, give the online booking process a try (see link below), it's really pretty straightforward. There's even a wait-list available, now that it's starting to get busier.

Or, send me a text and I'll respond when I can.

One last thing... chances of getting an on-the-day appointment are HIGHLY unlikely, so don't put up with your pain for a month and then find yourself in the lurch when it suddenly gets worse...

Sorry, this might sting a little...

It's July. Tax time. Which means my regular reassessment of service prices. And adjustment accordingly.

The good news for my loyal regulars is that you get a discount. I'm keeping prices where they are for eligible VIP's ;-) until January 2026.

I genuinely do try to balance affordability for my clients with what is good for my industry, my fellow therapists, and ultimately myself. And I think I'm straddling a good middle ground for what massage is worth locally and what I would expect to pay for it as a client myself.

Thank you to my regulars - enjoy a little honey on the sting for your loyalty ❤️

Clients often ask me, when should I come back for another massage?

I used to work for a business (or two) who really PUSHED rebooking clients, and it made me REALLY uncomfortable. However, I've also come to realise that the "up to you" line actually feels quite uncaring and dismissive. So it's taken me awhile to find a balance and feel confident in giving clients genuine recommendations.

It's not a great business model, but I take great satisfaction when I can provide symptomatic relief, and even resolution, in just one session.

So when should you come back?

1. Any recommendation for massage treatment is highly dependent on individual presentations and circumstances.
2. A good maintenance schedule (to treat everyday niggles and generalised tension) is generally every 4 weeks. Especially for women, having regard for hormonal cycles.
3. Chronic pain - these clients usually know their own cycles and flares and can use their own discretion to manage their condition.
4. Acute pain or injury - HIGHLY dependent on the nature of the presentation. I would make recommendations only after individual assessments, and consideration for referrals.

For new clients, generally my goal is to provide relief (and ideally resolution) in the first session, reassess and monitor response at the follow up, and then massage maintenance and home management advice thereafter.

Many of my regular clients have settled into their own maitenance schedule, mostly 4-weekly intervals (some weekly or fortnightly, some every 6-12 weeks). I usually prefer to have new clients rebook at their own discretion, no pressure.

Ultimately, massage is something you have to see value in, and make a conscious choice to budget time and money for it. And that can be difficult, when you start to feel better and question if maybe you don't need it any more, maybe it shouldn't be a priority? Some clients take breaks, and return worse for wear because they didn't realise the good it was doing (I am that client...)

When should you come back for another massage? The short answer is, as often as you can, because it's genuinely good stuff 😉

This is interesting, for anyone I've talked to about the psoas.

Massage can feel like a waste of time and money if you're feeling okay. Little aches and niggles that don't stop us from getting on with our day, we persevere with a 'she'll be right' attitude 😉👍

I myself am one of those patients who will put off an appointment if the pain goes away, or if impact is minimal and I can handle it without intervention.

But I should know better.

And thankfully, I have clients who DO know better, and have learned that maintenance is important in persistent pain management. When you stop being conscious of pain, it's not the time to stop the treatments, it's when you recognise that it's working!

Honestly, we treat our cars better than we treat our bodies. But when we skip the regular service, delay the oil change and tyre rotation, our vehicle starts to get stressed. The parts wear, other parts start to strain, and that's when we get a flare up.

Book yourself in for a service before the parts start to fail 😉

With a focus on health, and treatments tailored to the individual, my aim is to help maintain optimal health and systemic function, to aid injury rehabilitation, and to relieve persistent pain conditions.
