👨‍👨‍👦‍👦 FREE access to parenting program for Hunter, New England and Central Coast families - funded by the Hunter New England and Central Coast Primary Health Network 💙

We're delighted to announce that families living within the region have FREE access to the renowned parenting program MERTIL for Parents.

As part of the 2024/25 community grants program, up to 1000 families living in the HNE CC region are eligible to access this program free of charge.

Aimed at parents of 0–5-year-olds, the 40-minute program helps parents understand why trust matters so much to their baby or young child's development, plus how to grow it, repair it and keep it, especially when life is challenging.

Created by The Bouverie Centre MERTIL for Parents is evidence-based, with all content grounded in current research in attachment theory and developmental neuroscience.

We recently investigated an independent music teacher who was barred from working with children, but had several clients because the parents did not verify the teacher's Working with Children Check details.
Anyone who works as a sole trader providing services to your child needs to have their Working with Children Check verified. Verifying lets you know if someone is barred from working with children.
