Breathing is certainly getting some air time (pardon the pun) of late and so it should. It seems we are realising the importance of how we breathe can greatly benefit our overall health & wellbeing.

KIRTAN is returning on a Saturday evening - 16th May 5pm.

Kirtan is a sacred, joyful, heart-felt, meditative, dance-able, clap-able, uplifting and energizing event of chanting mantras in a call and response style. It is like divine tennis, whereby we chant a line and you guys chant back to us, and we go back and forth, listening to the mantra and chanting to the mantra until it fills up our hearts and the whole room.

Everyone is welcome to attend Saturday which will be like a mini retreat, time to learn and practice the main restorative poses. Our ability to rest is a skill.
Plonking in front of the TV and binge-watching Netflix might tune us out of our worries for a while, but it does not truly and deeply relax our body, nervous system, heart and mind.

Restorative Yoga is a practice that teaches us this skill of relaxation, resting, being still, making space for healing, and taking time to nurture ourselves.

Join Ginny for 1 or 2 days of this beautiful practice.

Day 1: Saturday 18th April: Learn and practice the main restorative poses, learning ways to adapt each pose to suit you and how to use the props to support your body and what to do (or not do) during the pose.

Day 2: Sunday 19th April: This is geared towards yoga teachers and how to teach restorative yoga and how to sequence classes.

On April 18th and 19th, Ginny is leading her Restorative Yoga workshop - The Art of Rest. This is an immersive and experiential weekend which is suitable for dedicated yoga students and Yoga Teachers. It will be like a mini retreat, right here in Toronto.

For those who would just like to experience a blissful day of restorative yoga, you can come to the Saturday only, as the Sunday is more geared towards yoga teachers and how to teach restorative yoga.
