We hope you’ve arrived into the new year feeling refreshed and are easing back into your routine with no rush!

Strength Foundations is back this Summer with two 4 week courses running 💪🏼

💛 Thursdays at 6:30pm
💛Jan 8th - 29th
💛 Feb 5th - 26th   

Only 8 spots available per course.

This is a supported 4 week journey designed to empower women to move, lift and feel confident doing strength work! 

There are incredible benefits for women who strength train, but we know it can be daunting to start, or confusing to know what information is the right one to follow. It’s why we’re so excited to offer our much loved 4 week course in a supportive environment designed just for women. 

Together we’ll ease the confusion of strength training, help you build a supportive exercise routine & welcome you into our beautiful community whilst giving you the knowledge, confidence, and hands-on support you need to feel empowered lifting weights.

Who is this for? 

This course is for every woman. We welcome all ages, all stages of life & all fitness levels.
Whether you’re brand new to strength training, or haven’t exercised in a while, currently working on building your strength, pregnant or postpartum, or simply ready to deepen your movement practice, this is for you.

Big smiles, strong bodies.

Shout out to these incredible women who spent the last 5 weeks getting stronger & more confident doing strength work during our last Women’s Strength Foundations Course of 2025👏

Over the past 5 weeks, our superstar Instructor Hannah has been guiding our ladies through all things strength work. They’ve covered foundational movement & good form whilst building their knowledge & strength each week.

We’ve loved having a space for women to soar in the fitness room and see these superstars show up each week for themselves.

If you’re looking to start your strength journey in 2026, in a space that nurtures you & supports you each step of the way - This course will be back early in 2026!

Join Hannah and a beautiful community of women as you learn to move well, grow stronger & fall in love with strength work. This course is designed for every women - whether you’re new to strength work, returning to exercise, heading into your senior years or just wanting to deepen your movement this small group course is for you.

Milestone Magic ✨

As we move towards our last few weeks of 2025, we wanted to take a moment to celebrate our incredible members.

It’s been so inspiring to see each and everyone one of you continue to show up for yourselves, your health, your wellbeing & each other - we’re continuously blown away by this community.

So many of you have made it to 100 classes and beyond this year & even more of you are so close to hitting that 100 classes milestone as well!

A few of our legends had even made it to over 300 classes since starting with us! Wow 🙌🏻

It has been such a privilege to watch you all go from strength to strength & grow in confidence & wellbeing this year!

We can’t wait to see what this incredible community achieves in 2026.

Don’t forget to take a moment and reflect on all your efforts this year. Whether you made it to a certain number of classes or not - you’ve achieved incredible things. It’s so easy for us to celebrate you (because you’re all amazing!) but we hope you also pause to celebrate yourself! What are you most proud of this year?

Balance & Stability 🌟

Each week, our balance class focuses on a theme to help keep bodies strong, practice correcting wobbles & work through important hip, foot, ankle, core & knee movement patterns.

Today’s sessions was all about the glutes!

Did you know that glute strengthening is an important part of balance skills?

If our glutes are not functioning correctly or have weaknesses, it can be difficult to engage in day to day activities like stairs, stepping over curbs or obstacles and so much more. By working with the glutes, we can target better walking patterns, stabilisation through the hips & pelvis and it can also help us to ensure our glutes are supporting the rest of our legs especially when there are knee & ankle challenges. But mostly when you’re feeling stronger through the glute/pelvic area, you’re also feeling confident & grounded in your day to day movement.

This morning beautiful balance ladies moved through a range of single leg exercises to strengthen & activate the glutes and they soared 👏

You might have noticed Cardio classes are back on the schedule at the Village. 🙌🏻

Why? Because cardiovascular training is a vital part of a healthy lifestyle & body.

There might be lots of noise out there about cardio & it can feel confusing to navigate. It can make approaching cardio classes overwhelming. Is it good for me? Is it important? Will it flair my stress?

The short answer - Cardio is good for you & so important for our heart & lung health!

Long answer - Guidelines for healthy exercise include 150 minutes of moderate cardio or 75 minutes of Vigorous cardio each week. For some people cardio needs to be approached mindfully, but any movement that increases your heart rate & works for you offers incredible benefits.

Cardiovascular training helps to;
- Significantly reduce the risk of lifestyle diseases
- Improve heart health & cardiovascular function
- Regulates & improves capacity for stress
- Improve mood & wellbeing
- Improves some metabolic functions
- Improve bone density & reduces risks of osteoporosis
- Is safe in pregnancy (with modifications)
- Supports healthy ageing

Healthy living means balancing the way we move and having variety in our exercise. Which is why we offer a range of classes to help you find a balance that doesn’t drain you but leaves you feeling healthy & empowered.

At the Village, our cardio classes meet you where you are meaning each class will suit your fitness level & health needs.

We know for some people approaching cardio needs consideration & intention and with our small classes sizes you’ll get to explore the right type of movement for you.

It’s time to stop avoiding cardio & let it be a fun part of your week. Our expert instructors are here to support your journey.
