JD Podiatry will be based in The Quay Family Healthcare Medical Centre, 222 Fischer Street, Torquay North. Working closely with GP's and other allied health professionals in a multidisciplinary team, JD Podiatry is the newest Podiatry clinic in the Torquay region, offering the latest technology and personalised treatment plans to get you back to your feet.

Unfortunately we are having to close our doors for the next 5 days due to the restrictions being introduced from 11:59pm tonight.

If you had an appointment over the next 5 days, we will be in touch to reschedule you.

Unfortunately there are “no exceptions” to this policy, according to our governing body, so we do sincerely apologise for the inconvenience and pain this may be causing you. We will do everything to get you back on track once we are allowed back in the clinic.

Telehealth appointments can still be arranged for anyone in need.

Thank you for an amazing year, despite the numerous hurdles we have all had to overcome this year.

We have so much to be thankful for, so take it all in and enjoy this time with friends and family.

We will be back on board on Monday 11th January 2021.

Update from Jack: our early Christmas present, Oscar Thomas Duffy, was born 10 days early on 21/12/2020. Everyone is doing great!

It was great to catch up with local legend, physiotherapist, running coach and Tokyo 2020 Olympic qualifier, Ellie Pashley, to discuss all things running.

We have had a significant increase in running related injuries during 2020 with gyms being closed, so we decided to pick the brain of one of the best going around.

The good news is, you can also be coached by Ellie and the team at Run Strong Online Coaching, with personalised running programs the are specific to your level of running.

If you are thinking of getting into running, I would strongly recommend getting some advice on the safest way to do this to avoid injury.

P.S. this was Harry's first Professional Development session as well - thank goodness for the goodies at Cafe El Nido.

If you forget your mask and have to run back inside to get it, I suggest taking both shoes off.
Don’t take one shoe off and hop into the house...
