Clients are my greatest teachers, not only for keeping my health knowledge up to date, but by teaching me to be a better human being.
I've been guilty of expecting too much of clients (because I'm so invested in their health journey and really want to help them.) And that meant at times I wasn't able to connect with their challenges and pain. And for that, I am deeply sorry.
But when I was able to step into a little humility and reflect on my own previous health challenges, it gave me the opportunity to self reflect, to step into their shoes and see how difficult it can be to make lasting change.
My aim with my clients these days is to deeply listen and provide support that feels simple and achievable. To recommend small actions that become part of their permanent daily routine.
It's easy to expect our loved ones to change, but we quickly realise that when it comes to ourselves, it's not as simple as it sounds! It's not until we have a health scare or the discomfort gets too much, that we finally decide something needs to change.
Please don't wait for a health crisis, see a practitioner as soon as you feel something isn't right. It's never too late to turn things around, it might just take a little longer. Good health really does equate to wealth.
I'm here if you need me ❤️
