Treatments include
Myotherapy (A more specific type of manual therapy, aimed at treating specific sites of pain/tightness/tenderness and muscle fatigue or muscle bundle shortening issues). These treatments quickly and effectively offset a lack of range of movement and Myofascial pain, and increase performance of the bodies bio mechanics and function. Remedial and Sports Massage for both pre and post sports activity, will vary dependent on the sports activity that has taken place, whether there is "repetitive movement" including basketball (twisting and turning), or golf, where the exact same muscles are utilised during each golf swing and impact. Acupressure is extremely effective, focussing on the identification and elimination of Myofascial and latent trigger points. Acupressure is the use of single digit (1 finger or 1 thumb) pressure that is applied to many specific sites, that stimulate a neurone, hence having the desired effect on a particular taught tissue within the body. These also in turn help offset tight muscles at its point of both origin and insertion, stimulating blood flow quickly and effectively where it is needed most. Dry Needling is also used where needed, to offset Myofascial pain and switch on fatigued or weak muscles. Consultation Fee Structure
