The Mindful Sparrow Virtual Wellness & Expressive Arts Studio

Cutting-edge wellness and expressive arts studio. Teaching you to shine and cultivate a new version of you using modern methods and ancient tools.

As a mental health and wellness professional, I view personal struggles from a whole-person perspective and work to identify the underlying causes while empowering individuals on their wellness journeys. I have a warm, empathic approach, value confidentiality and uphold the NASW Ethics and Practice Standards for Social Workers.

I have worked and advocated for vulnerable populations in the social health field for a combined 18 years in both the private and public sector. My focus concentrates on the integration of modern neuroscience and ancient wisdom teachings of indigenous cultures to reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD trauma and addictions, develop purpose, form healthier relationships and achieve overall wellbeing. My training includes Cognitive Behavioural Theory (CBT), Mindfulness, DBT, Narrative therapy, the Medicine Wheel and Expressive Arts exercises that recognize you as the hero of your journey. Since I also have a background in photography, film and poetry, I know how art can be a powerful healing tool. Therefore, I incorporate creative expression in both my own life and professional practice.

I work with adults from an intersectional lens, and welcome people with culturally diverse backgrounds, gender identities, sexual orientation and belief systems.
