Coming up this Friday night - No Berets Needed!
Held at Great Ocean Road Gin from 6.30pm to 9pm, we are inviting all speakers of sonnet, soliloquy, haiku, limerick, narrative and ballad to bring their original works to the stage.

As the title suggests, no berets (experience) are needed to join this inclusive event!

The Surf Coast will be slammed with spoken-word and poetry presentations this Friday night, 3 October 2026.

We are having a ball down at Bunnings Torquay today! The Sunshine is hitting our gazebo, Sea Biscuit is dancing in the carpark and the kids are loving our sticker haul!

A HUGE thankyou to Ryan's IGA Torquay and Surfcoast Quality Meats for donating all the food for our BBQ today. It helps us out so much!

A shout out to our wonderful volunteers, intern Rajni and our friends for helping us out today too.

Skilled volunteers required for a great cause

Foundation 61 are looking for some skilled volunteers to help us at an upcoming working Bee
Some of the jobs we hope to get completed include.

– chicken coop fencing and gate
– installation of automatic chicken gate into coop
– skilled workers that can operate machinery to move soft fall, Mulch, soil, gravel etc. For general tidy up of resources
– fence post put in place for rabbit proof fence to food growing area.
– construction of compost bays
