Be “In Harmony” with your health & wellbeing through learning the flowing Mindful Movements of Qigong (pronounced: chee goong ) & Meditation. Combined with gentle breathing, these easy to learn mainly standing postures support & strengthen the body in returning to it’s natural balanced state of health (of yin/yang). Qi (or chi) is the life force energy that runs through everything, whilst Gong means practice. Qigong has been part of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) for over 6,000 years. Through the regular practice of allowing Qi to flow throughout the body without blockages (which cause illness & disease), Qigong helps to maintain your natural healthy & harmonious state, reducing stress & anxiety, detoxing, restoring energy & strengthening your physical body. The movements help you to connect with your body’s wisdom as you start to tune in & feel. Run by Mel Bean, who first discovered Qigong whilst recovering from her diagnosis of Breast Cancer in 2016, she has undergone practice with Master Lisa McEvoy & Practitioner Training from Qigong Master Simon Blow. After briefly trying Tai Chi, Melanie found that Qigong was a better fit being based on the flowing Self Care practices of TCM, rather than martial arts. Learn to prioritise your wellness. Feel empowered to take control of your own health & wellbeing by coming along to classes. My hope is for you to feel & know the incredible benefits as I've experienced for your Mind, Body & Breath. Classes are open to all ages & held on the beautiful Central Coast. Unlike yoga, there is no need to stretch/flex your body into uncomfortable postures but rather gently lengthen & feel into your own level of ability increasing slowly, softly & smoothly. When divine synchronicity aligns! 🪽🪶🦜🐸😇 My connection with the sulphur crested cockatoo 💛🤍 & mum with the spotted frog started in Feb, appearing in her garden watching her. The birds flying directly above my head, following my car; appearing at some truly special times in various locations. And here they are again in this gorgeous art 🖼️ visiting Mum’s closest friend in palliative care. When we open to receiving universal support, magic really does appear 💖✨ Do you believe in signs too?

Sulphur crested cockatoo represents new beginnings; a guiding light offering illumination; when energy will flow more freely. A guardian of the East Gate, bringing clarity & enhanced intuition.

A spotted green frog represents transformation, personal growth, & cleansing, acting as a spiritual messenger of positive change & renewal.

Divine timing 🪶🤍💛 The sulphur crested cockatoo appeared yet again on such a special day - the Memorial of a dear family friend. 🪽 I also heard the unusual birdsong squawk 🎶 during the service & upon leaving saw a soft little white feather float across the sky.
According to this striking bird represents Illumination - how divine indeed👌✨

DYK Our belief in our own Health & Wellbeing is a key component of Qigong? 🤔 It sure is!

Everything is energy (known as Qi/Ki or Prana) so having a positive intentional mindset around your healing journey is essential. Our absolutely miraculous body’s ability to heal is much greater than we’ve been taught as scientists are just starting to realise. Even Harvard is conducting studies about this! ❤️‍🩹💝

Each & every one of our 30 trillion cells, plus our organs, muscles, ligaments, bones, fluids, systems & more want us to be here alive & well! Simply because if we’re not, then they’re not!!

We really do take our amazing body for granted in each moment of every single day. That is, until something big happens & then we’re forced into facing a harsh reality. Like I did when I was diagnosed with Breast Cancer 10 years ago this year 🎀

However if you want to thrive WITH life on your side, start doing things that suppprt YOU & your wellness on all levels of life including your Mind, Body, Energy, & Soul.

Qigong encompasses ALL of these aspects into the 1 incredible therapeutic modality that you do yourself FOR yourself. It’s easy to try yet profoundly effective if you commit to it regularly.
