Hannah is currently studying sport and exercise science, due to finish in 2028, and will pursue a master's in Exercise Physiology in 2029.

Hannah is from Mount Isa; she loves rugby league and, when not studying, can usually be found hanging out with friends.

We need to advocate for our purpose now, more than ever.

OTs are at breaking point.

The NDIA has made a devastating pricing decision—one that freezes therapy support rates for the seventh year in a row and slashes travel funding for occupational therapists by 50%. These changes are already driving providers out of the system and leaving participants without essential care.

Occupational therapists deserve fair pay.

NDIS participants deserve consistent care.

OTA is campaigning for an immediate price uplift, a fit-for-purpose allied health costing model, and a reversal of the 50% travel rate cut – and we need your voice!

Here’s what you can do:
1.Sign our petition to the Australian Government and NDIA
2. Email your MP using our prepared template - it goes straight to your MP + NDIS decision-makers

We also call on our OTA members to share this with your networks. The more Australians who speak out - participants, families, therapists, and allies - the harder it will be for decision makers to ignore the devastating consequences of this pricing decision.

Here is another one of our proud Rainbow moments 🌈 From a firecracker of a little man who was misunderstood and trapped behind significant speech impairments, social-emotional and fine motor delays, and choosing to repeat kindy because we just weren't quite ready for school...

To this - a confident prep superstar, finishing term 1 with a big award for being a kind friend and putting 100% into learning. This was achieved through a mum who did whatever she could to make it work for him, and regular OT focusing on social skill development, emotional resilience, sensory processing regulation and independence, fun fine motor and visual motor challenges and most importantly, advocacy to everyone in his world about his strengths and where he could flourish. Still a firecracker, and still where we grew the famous "rainbow sandwich" into practice in clinic. Pop on in to discover what it is for yourself.

We were all tuckered out for OT during this home visit in Charters Towers today. This little ray of sunshine got her sensory regulation fill with gym ball bouncing, buzzy cushions, slime and a bright little flower garden. And let's not forget the delicious squishy hugs her OT couldn't resist dishing out, because let's be honest, just look at those kissable cheeks?! 😍 and yes she is laying on 3 smoosh balls!

Hands down, my favourite day of the week was visiting our gorgeous little Rainbow families on Magnetic Island. Being picked up by my wonderful friend and fellow colleague .au, to getting a delicious home grown stash of eggs, to watching curious kookaburras and saving echidnas (on a fine motor board game of course) as a team at the ever welcoming kindergarten, and finishing off with squishy, regulating squeezes and hugs and the offering of home made fruit smoothies by a wonderfully helpful big sister...And we get to call this work? Our Rainbow therapists and team are so very blessed 🌻🌈

We speak all the love languages here at Rainbow, and delight in filling our Rainbow kid's cups as much as we can with what they need. But today we were all about accepting acts of service from as we make space for our growing team and growing families, and quite frankly I'm pretty happy with what got done 😍. Thank you
