🌿 A Personal Reflection 🌿

It’s been some time since I posted. 2025 was a challenging year on so many levels. It was filled with moments of grief, loss and unexpected change. It’s reminded me that no one is exempt from life’s hardships and that it’s okay to feel deeply, to sit with our emotions and to honor the process of healing.

For anyone navigating difficult times right now please know better days are ahead. Healing is not linear but every step (even the small ones) brings you closer to peace, balance and renewal. 🌸

Be kind to yourself. Feel what you need to feel and remember the light always returns.

Just as the lotus rises from the mud and blossoms above the water’s surface, untouched by the impurities below, Reiki helps us rise above pain, stress, and emotional blockages to connect with inner peace and higher consciousness.

In many spiritual traditions including those closely aligned with Reiki’s roots, the lotus represents the journey of the soul—unfolding layer by layer toward enlightenment. It’s a reminder that beauty and healing can emerge even from life’s most difficult or “muddy” moments.

The serene grounded energy of the lotus - used in my logo - mirrors the environment I strive to create in The Reiki Room a space where clients can feel safe, supported and open to healing.

This long weekend I decided to take some time to disconnect and do some long overdue soul work! 🙏

Saturday morning started with two hours of bliss comprising of:

▪️A Cacao ceremony
▪️Yin yoga
▪️Deep guided meditation
▪️Sound immersion

The scalp massage at the end was amazing! 😍

I often think in the spiritual healing world there can be a lack of community. Although there are a lot of people who practise in this field from the heart there is also many out for their own gains. People often are quick to bring others down rather than supporting. They see others succeeding in similar modalities and become jealous. The universe always connects us with those that we need to connect with as part of our journey and the world needs more healers! 💫

Highly recommend one of Dani’s sessions. Can’t wait to go back! 💛

Everyone is feeling an energy shift at the moment. Don’t feel bad if you feel a pull to retreat.

I don't know about anyone else, but I am feeling every single ounce of the current planet alignment, the feeling is so gross!! And it's only being amplified by this horrible heat!

Know that you are not alone if you're feeling this way, take time for yourself, pick up a good book and get lost in it, go get a massage, head to the movies and pick a good one to cry over, whatever it is you have to do, please do it for you ❤️ this energy feels like chaos, it feels like the kind of energy that amplifies anxiety and worry, realise your circle of control and anything outside of that, let it go ❤️
