Good morning followers.

Thought it was time for a little update. When things get challenging in my life I tend to shut down and revert back to my comfort shell…. Hence no updates sorry.

Our gluten desensitisation did not go well… in fact we only did two exposures before calling it quits. It was not an easy thing watching what poor Amity was going through… in fact it’s an awful feeling giving your child something that you know isn’t good for their body.

Amity turned 3 last week which was very exciting.

Our family have also recently gotten Miss Luna. Luna is a poodle cross border collie.
Luna is in training to be a therapy dog with further hopes of her becoming a gluten detection dog 🤞🏼.

If you see us out and about please approach but do not touch the dog as she is training.

Hey friends. We recently had an incident at Amity’s new kindy where she has eaten something she shouldn’t have. Instead of just moving on from this I had the discussion with the director and lead educator about how we can make her allergies bigger than just an action plan on the wall.

Here is what we have come up with. How good do these look!!!

We also did them on her individual lunchbox’s inside the Dino bag. Next will be to put them on her water bottle as well.

My Easter allergy tip…. Always have safe chocolate to swap out the others.Amity can tolerate some dairy but I’m not game...

Alrighty sorry for the radio silence the last month. Got back from our trip away and hit the ground running.

We have had a bit of a stressful situation the past few weeks… Amity’s family daycare has closed down. We now only have care 1 day a week for Amity (ideally we need 3).
If you know anyone in the family daycare sector that might have space please let me know.
