Let’s talk about *seggs..... calmly, openly, and without shame.

Changes in desire, comfort, and pleasure are common in midlife.

As oestrogen and testosterone decline, blood flow, tissue elasticity, and lubrication alter, sometimes leading to discomfort or disconnection.

These are medical and hormonal shifts, not personal failings.

With the right assessment, there are safe and effective ways to restore comfort and vitality.

Dr White provides evidence-based care that considers both physical and emotional wellbeing, empowering women to feel at home in their bodies again.

Balance isn’t about doing everything perfectly. It’s about doing the right things consistently.

Small daily actions, whole foods, hydration, movement, rest help regulate cortisol and support hormonal rhythm.

In midlife, your body’s needs change; your habits can too.

Dr White encourages practical, sustainable shifts that fit within real lives, not rigid rules.

Wellbeing built on grace, not pressure.

Mood changes in midlife are not “just emotional”, they’re biochemical.

Oestrogen and progesterone interact with serotonin, dopamine, and GABA, the very neurotransmitters that stabilise mood and calm the nervous system.

When hormones fluctuate, so does emotional regulation. Sleep, stress, and nutrition can amplify these effects.

Dr White’s approach includes evidence-based medical options, but also lifestyle strategies: consistent meals, restorative sleep, gentle movement, and connection.

Balancing the inner chemistry brings steadiness back to daily life.

Perimenopause can begin up to ten years before your final period and it’s the stage when hormone patterns become less predictable.

Oestrogen spikes and dips, progesterone gradually falls, and the brain works overtime to recalibrate.

The result? Irregular cycles, night sweats, mood changes, and fatigue but also an opportunity to deeply understand your body.

Dr White helps women identify what’s physiological, what’s lifestyle, and what support will make the transition smoother.

Perimenopause isn’t an ending. It’s an evolution.

Medical management is sometimes an essential part of addressing complex skin, hormone, and metabolic concerns.

Dr Michelle White utilises evidence-based medical therapies, including regulated prescription options and, when clinically indicated, customised compounded medications.
These interventions are selected based on pathology, symptom patterning, and a full clinical assessment, never as a one-size-fits-all approach.

Treatment pathways may include:
• hormonal modulation to support endocrine balance
• topical or systemic dermatological therapies
• medications that influence metabolic pathways
• nutritional and lifestyle interventions grounded in current evidence

All medical therapies are prescribed within a controlled, monitored framework, ensuring safety, appropriateness, and alignment with best-practice clinical guidelines.

The aim is not to override physiology, but to work with it, supporting the body’s natural regulatory systems through scientifically informed, medically supervised care.

Lost your keys again?
Forgotten names. Lost keys. A word right on the tip of your tongue?

Oestrogen, progesterone, and testosterone all influence brain chemistry. When they shift, neurotransmitters like serotonin and acetylcholine change too, affecting focus, memory, and mood.

Midlife brain fog isn’t a personal failure; it’s a biochemical phase.

Supporting the body through rest, blood sugar balance, stress management, and (where appropriate) hormone therapy can help clear the haze.

Dr Michelle White’s consults focus on identifying the drivers behind these changes, so women can understand what’s happening, and find strategies that restore clarity and calm.

Midlife doesn't have to be a decline. It can be a powerful second act.
With knowledge, care, and the right guidance, women can rediscover strength, energy, and purpose.
Hormonal change is part of evolution, not loss.
At Nauro, the aim is not perfection, but balance, helping you feel clear, confident, and connected to your body again.

✨ Your next chapter starts from within.

The holiday season affects more than digestion and sleep, it also stimulates the nervous system.

Noise, travel, emotion and late nights all place a physiological load on the body.

Early January is a time for:
• quiet mornings
• time in nature
• slower meals
• reduced stimulation
• earlier sleep

Calm is not something we earn.
It’s something we allow.

Summer, sun and celebration can leave the skin feeling dry, sensitive or unsettled in early January.

This is not the time for aggressive correction.
It’s a time for barrier support, hydration and consistency.

Skin doesn’t need punishment after celebration, it needs nourishment.

Hydration supports far more than thirst.

It plays a role in:
• digestion
• circulation
• skin integrity
• hormone signalling
• energy levels

After travel, heat, alcohol and disrupted routines, the body often needs time to rehydrate at a deeper level.

Water, minerals, fruit and simple nourishing meals gently support this return to balance.

Your body carried you through another year of heat, stress, celebration, fatigue and joy.

It doesn’t need punishment.

It deserves curiosity, respect and support.

Health is not created through urgency.

It’s built through consistency and understanding.

2026 is here.....and can you believe we’re already a week into it?

Some homes are still in holiday mode, Christmas trees still standing.
Others have done a full purge and reset.
Some are setting goals and starting the year with momentum, while others are still feeling a little discombobulated after the festive season.

Wherever you find yourself is okay.
Motivation and momentum don’t need to look the same for everyone, we’re all in different seasons.

You don’t have to begin with a full reset (though it’s fine if you do). Often, the most meaningful steps are the small ones. Any action, no matter how gentle, has value. With consistency, these actions become routine and eventually, second nature.

As always, we continue to honour health as something built steadily, with care, understanding and a commitment to consistency.
