Breastfeeding with mastitis can be painful but the right support can make a big difference 🤍

At our physiotherapy clinic, we help manage mastitis with a holistic, gentle approach. We offer therapeutic ultrasound to reduce inflammation and help clear blocked ducts, manual lymphatic drainage (MLD) to ease swelling and discomfort, pain-management strategies to support healing, and personalised guidance on breastfeeding positioning to improve milk flow and reduce strain on sensitive areas.

Our goal is to help you feel more comfortable, supported, and confident while your body recovers. If you’re struggling with mastitis, we’re here to help.

Many women adapt their day around their bladder without even realising.

What is considered normal bladder frequency?
🔷Passing urine 4-6 times per day
🔷Passing urine 1-2 per night (depending on age)

Pelvic health physiotherapy can help reduce that constant “just in case” feeling.

Pelvic floor physiotherapy is something many have heard about… but not everyone knows what we do!

So we asked our physios one question:
What’s one thing you wish everyone knew about pelvic health physiotherapy?

Reality: Recovery after birth doesn’t happen on a timeline.

At six weeks postpartum, many women are still navigating real physical changes in their bodies.

It’s common to experience:
• pelvic heaviness or pressure
• abdominal weakness or separation
• leaking with coughing, sneezing or exercise
• pain during movement or intimacy

These symptoms are common, but they shouldn’t be something you simply have to live with.

Pelvic health physiotherapy supports recovery after birth by helping you:
• rebuild strength
• improve bladder and pelvic support
• return to exercise safely
• feel more confident in your body again

Your recovery deserves attention and care — not just a timeline.

Feeling heaviness, pressure or a bulging sensation in the va**na?

Many women assume this is just something they need to live with after pregnancy or as they get older - but these symptoms can be signs of pelvic organ prolapse.

Prolapse occurs when the pelvic organs (such as the bladder, uterus or bowel) are not being fully supported by the pelvic floor and surrounding tissues.

You may notice symptoms like:

• Vaginal heaviness or dragging
• A bulging sensation
• Discomfort with exercise
• Difficulty with bladder or bowel emptying
• Reduced confidence returning to activity

The good news is that pelvic floor physiotherapy can be very effective in helping manage prolapse symptoms and supporting a safe return to exercise and daily activities.

Many women are able to significantly improve symptoms with the right guidance and treatment.

If something doesn’t feel right, it’s worth getting it checked.

Cancer treatment can bring a number of unexpected physical side effects - many of which women are not routinely screened for or informed about.

Treatments such as chemotherapy, radiation, pelvic surgery and hormone therapy can impact pelvic floor function, bladder control, bowel function and sexual health.

You may notice symptoms such as:

• Bladder leakage or urgency
• Vaginal dryness
• Pain with in*******se
• Pelvic heaviness

At The Restore Clinic, many of our Physiotherapists are trained in both Women’s Health and Lymphoedema management, allowing us to provide comprehensive care for pelvic floor symptoms following cancer treatment.

Support is available during and after treatment 🤍
