Strong and Steady group exercise for over 60s...join us Fridays at 1pm
Age related decline... sounds ominous. As we age, our bodies change and our muscle mass declines. That's not the end of it all though. Exercise intervention to improve muscle strength and bone health will help you complete the activities you enjoy (golf, playing with the grandkids and even better tolerance for time spent seated if you're off to bingo) and help keep you steady on your feet.
Group exercise sessions (for +60 yrs) with an exercise physiologist incorporate balance and motor control exercises, completed under supervision and modified to your individual fitness level and goals. Targeted balance exercises may reduce your risk of falls, and reduce the likelihood of injury from falling*.
