It’s been a while…..

I recently returned to full time work and I’ve left Augustine B to simmer. I have been at a crossroads of whether to continue or close.

I figured I would do something in between. I’m currently building a new website, stripping things back and trying to get away from the Meta Monopoly as much as I can. Their constant upselling and having to have multiply connected social sites is deafening and overwhelming. 😢

I hope to have something available in the coming months. I can absolutely still process an order using PayPal. 🙂

We all know oil and water don't mix. 💦🌿⁠
⁠
So how do we apply essential oils safely. With the exception of Lavender and Tee Tree (not limited to) which can be tolerated neat on the skin its important essential oils are diluted with a "Carrier". ⁠
⁠
Essential oils are a highly concentrated plant extract. The use of a carrier dilutes the essential oil to a level which is safer avoiding sensitivity.⛑⁠
⁠
Skin: Sweet Almond oil, Fractionated Coconut oil, Jojoba oil, Grape Seed oil, salves, balms, creams. For a healthy adult a safe dilution is 2.5% (10ml =5 drops) (30ml = 15drops) ⁠
⁠
Bath: Epsom salts, magnesium salts, bath milks and liquid soap i.e Castile soap.⁠
⁠
Relaxing bath blend try : 1 cup Epsom salts, 5 drop of lavender, 4 Chamomile (German or Roman) and 3 Frankincense.⁠
⁠
Muscle Soothing bath blend: 1 cup Epson salts, 5 drops Marjoram, 4 Lemongrass and 3 Lavender.⁠
