As we are between the Years of 2025 and 2026 we may have time to reflect, feel how the last year has been for us, what or who has been lost :
a loved one? a friendship? perhaps an old belief no longer needed? A habit that no longer served us?
And what has been gained in 2025?
More experience? A new friend a baby in the family? a new skill, another job?
Whatever it may have been or just same old we move without the possibility to slow it or halt it into the second part of the 2020s Its been intense for some people I know. The roaring 20s, definitely brought challenges to society.
Through these times it is particularly beneficial to lean into ones RESOURCES, your breath, your flexibility, your strength, your resilience and your joy and wisdom.
I have learned in the last decade how powerful strengthening it is to be able to truly lean into our ancestors.
We may not know their names, have never met them or are so familiar with some of them... There seems to be no difference in the strength they can provide us. One of the most profound experiences for me doing the work of Systemic Constellation is the power of ones ANCESTORS, no matter what happend to them.
From the
LOST generation born 1883-1900 that experienced WW1, the Spanish flue and the real roaring twenties as adults. They Invented Jazz and the bohemian life style.
The GREAT generation born 1901- 1927 suffered in the Great depression, tremendous deprivation and survival. Lived through WW2. They enjoyed the first Hollywood movies and the radio. Being frugal and hardworking to provide for the family.
The SILENT Generation born 1928- 1945 experienced the aftermath of WW2 with food stamps and grieving the losses of their men especially fathers. Silent to the past to focus on the FUTURE and trying to leave the sorrows behind.
instead of risk taking they were more about stabilising society, hard working.
Baby Boomers Born 1946-1964 experienced Vietnam War, Moon landing and the Flower Power Movement. They may be ambitious, competitive and said to be resource driven by consumerism.
Gen X born 1965- 1980 affected by the cold war , first computers they are said to be sceptical and independent individualists.
Gen Y- Millennials 1981-1996 experienced 9/11 the great financial crisis of 2007-9 and the beginning of social media. Often labelled as entitled, tech-savvy, purpose driven and idealistic .
Gen Z 1997-2012 professional impacted by the pandemic Covid- 19, Interconnected through smartphones, socially and environmentally conscious
Gen Alpha 2013-2025 Post pandemic adaptation, AI influenced aware of the climate crisis the previous generations caused.
Gen Beta 2025- 2039 is who is going to be born from this year onwards, we see how AI tools and future innovation and events influence them.
