Diverse Abilities Wellbeing Network provides high-quality and empowering support services for people with diverse abilities in Ayr, Cairns, Ingham, Palm Island, Townsville and beyond. As a care-focused and family-oriented organisation, working with you, for you, our vision is to create a safe, fun and supportive environment where our participants can achieve their full potential. Our compassionate team provides various support including home care, community participation, nursing care, NDIS Support Coordination and mental health support. We offer flexible and sustainable services that uphold human dignity and create opportunities. Our staff are carefully chosen to ensure a good participant and support worker match.

📢 NDIS Updates for Participants & Families – 2026

As the NDIS moves into 2026, some changes may affect participants and families:

🔹 A new planning approach is being introduced, focusing more on individual support needs and goals
🔹 Some participants may experience plan reviews or reassessments during the year
🔹 There is a stronger focus on funding supports that are directly related to disability needs
🔹 Quality and safety of supports remain a key priority

💬 Tip: If your plan is up for review or your needs have changed, make sure this is clearly communicated and documented.

📞 Support Coordinators and LACs can help guide you through these changes.
