Rehab Tip from Physio Chris — The Hip Hinge

Learning the hip hinge is a crucial movement for offloading the lower back and shifting the load to our stronger (and less irritated) leg muscles.

Bending is something we do every day, so avoiding it isn’t the solution. Instead, we focus on HOW you move.

This is an example of an exercise progression we work through in our Back Lab program, helping you build confidence and strength with bending and lifting again.

For the past 6 weeks, Johno has been part of the Health First family, and we have absolutely loved having him in the clinic.
