We have been working to create this real-life rainbow bridge where people will be able to go and honor their late pets..

Grief is something we are all likely to experience in this life time.. and at times our first experience with grief is when we lose our four-legged family members.

We have created this project so that members of the community will have a space to grieve; to talk about their loved ones who have crossed the rainbow bridge and a place where people can take photos for some ever lasting memories.

This is also a nod of respect to all the vets who are there time after time in those final moments..

Statiscially speaking; Australia loses a veterinarian on average every 12 weeks.

How good is this!! 😁🛹🎨

We held our first event 'create & skate' and what a success!!

What beautiful people we have in our community; it was an absolute pleasure to see everyone there today enjoying the skateboards, the yard games and all the other things including the bbq, chit chat & even the rain!

Thank you to everyone who showed up; not only were you supporting a small local business but you were all so kind, especially helping chuck everything under cover when it started to rain! 😅🌦

This whole event wouldn't have been possible with out YOU the community!! 💪

A huge shout out to Mel & Sarah for being amazing today! Couldn't have done it with out such a great team!!

The biggest shout out to Just Better Care - Townsville if it weren't for sponsors like Just Better Care we wouldn't be able to bring these community events to you all!

🚨 FEEL GOOD MOMENT🚨

Today I was surprised to receive a text message from our new neighbours thanking us for being lovely neighbours and that they had left a gift at our fence for us.

I walk out to find this beautiful box of chocolates (even covered by a secondary bag as to not get them wet) ahah

This is community, this is connection, this is kindness in all the chaos. 💕

How lucky we are to have such beautiful neighbours on all sides of us..

Life gets busy, but it can also get lonely and stressful..

When was the last time you waved at your neighbour, said g'day or simply took in their bins to help them out?
