The MIND is a powerful projector and a person’s experience depends on their perception, which is a result of their conditioning.
The following story provides an example of this:-
Three men were walking along the road early one morning when they saw a man lying on the ground beside the road.
The first man said, ‘He probably spent the whole night gambling and drinking and passed out on the way home’. The second man said, ‘Poor man, he is probably very ill’. The third man said, ‘He was most likely hit by a car and is dead’.
All three men made their judgement, which was actually an assumption, and walked away. Not one of them checked to see if he was conscious or had a pulse. There is a universal law that states:-
Experience is the result of perception.
Our perceptions are simply, ‘Our truth’ but they are not necessarily, ‘The truth’.
We do not see the world the way it is; we see it the way we are.
