There are moments in life where you feel a bit more in tune with what matters in life. Sometimes, in silly moments like this, I feel yet again grateful for Townsville and the utterly quirky and hilarious people that put in my life (.casey you are a cracker πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ Love you to bits πŸ˜‚β€οΈ)

Because life isn't all about physiotherapy (though my old me would disagree). My band will be playing at the Metropole In Townsville as the support band for the outstanding Nicki Parrot. Come and say "Hi".

Thank you Townsville and my Aquarela band members. I am not sure what I would do without you all. You brought me back the joy to create and enjoy music so I owe you all that.

Thank you, Aquarela. Thank you, Townsville!

Now let's have some fun! 🌷❀️

Leaving Portugal is always hard for me. Between the memories of the past and the recent ones and the emptiness it leaves in me, it is always hard for me to leave.

However, although it is hard to leave my country, my family and my friends are the reason why I keep wanting to return as often as I can. I can't put in words how hard it is to leave while knowing that I won't see them for another 2 years.

I know Portuguese people are nostalgic. I am no exception. From the music, the (almost) chains we hold of the past, we feel Saudade from the places, the memories, the people, the space, the aromas, the memories we won't be a part of... I guess that's what I am feeling. Time flies, and I know that whilst I am embracing my life in Australia, I am choosing not to have one in Portugal with my family and friends. Every choice has a consequence. I can't have both. And although I could change my mind (because we all have a choice at all times), and although I know it hurts to leave so many of you, I know deep in my heart that my life is in Australia.

To my mum, family, and friends, it is hard to explain how I love you all. The memories we have and still will make will always be in my heart. Thank you for the tears, the laughter, and the shared experiences and adventures.

Thank you for loving this stubborn head of mine and for supporting me and my decisions. Please take care of yourselves and keep fighting for your happiness, love, and everything you all wish for. Coming here always inspires me to be and do more because of your resilience and perseverance.

It's never a goodbye so "See you soon".

Love you all 🌷❀️

On my way to visit my family in Portugal. β€οΈπŸ™

Funny enough, I find myself already missing paradise and the beautiful people I've already met this year ( in Townsville ❀️)

Travelling solo is always very introspective, for me, so I find myself being grateful over and over again for all the moments of growth and the laughter that I've shared with so many of you throughout this year. Thank you, Townsville. You have been nothing but warm and... truthful.

Thank you to everyone that touched my life and made it a better place these last 9 months.

See you in a while, Townsville. ❀️

(More of the same) Sexism is healthcare... POTS is a condition that impact predominantly women however, if men have it, they'll be diagnosed earlier.

Let it sink. πŸ‘Ž
